So Dennis you think the DVD is the new "Rabbit Hole" and just like us the US government is investigating Tagruato, SLUSHO! and TIDOWave? I think we are going to get all the evidence together (With new evidence) and figure out what and how it happened! How the Manga ties in beats me?! My guess is Tagruato found the monster and was using it to make SLUSHO! some how under the Chuai station, The cult then awakened the beast (after the tokyo attacks in the manga.) and TIDO WAVE was there and that is the chuai vids... just my .02

I'm not sure if this is the entrance to the next Rabbit Hole. It could be that we, the ARG participants, really did miss some clues out there in the World Wide Web, and these lists of "supplemental files" are just that, lists of all the clues.

Or it's a terrible joke, a dead end.

Dennis, where did you get this DVD if you saw these things firsthand? My reason for asking is that there are 8 different editions of the film (correct?). I'm thinking that maybe the reason they've thrown all these different editions out there is 1.) to make money and 2.) to send out "the golden ticket" if you will.

And as far as these things on the DVD being an accident, I personally don't think so. Rabbit Hole? Perhaps. Dead end? Maybe. But an accident? It can't be. How could you do something like this on accident, after all the care you'd meticulously put into the marketing campaign?

You know what... I just realized that all the new stuff that they say will be on the DVD could just be old stuff that we already knew about before the movie came out, but this is for all those that didn't do the viral marketing campaign.

Tido wave has made it clear something is up with the SLUSHO! (putrid drink, and saying that its odd there is no FDA approval.) The Chuai station is where they are obtaining the SLUSHO! (Whistleblower sent doc saying the chuai station has no oil.) (Teddy made sure to send a sample of the DSN and a SLUSHO! hat to jamie.) The Chuai station is also where the altercation occured. With that said here is a theory:

The Manga happens first... We are going to learn that the monster is either captured or returns to the ocean. Tagruato finds it to study. Maybe the monster is Frozen in a block of DSN and that's what keeps him asleep. As soon as Tagruato comes in to investigate it (again...) they begin obtaining the SLUSHO! therefore awakening him under the Chuai station and he breaks free and the incident occurs. Tag begins chase and the pics on 1-18-08 of the attack on the monster happens. They somehow capture it again and head to the nearest harbor NY City... The movie happens the Hammerdown happens and he jumps back into the ocean only to disappear again. Is it possible that the Hatsui satellites purpose is just to track the monster. It's said it can track things on earth in the ocean so is that a coverup for really tracking MGP? Ok, thoughts?

My theory:

MGP was an alien, crashed to earth as a baby (the thing falling at the end of the movie). It found the crater from which Chuai was drilling. Fed on the mysterious "deep sea necter", which has been proven to give cell and organ growth in its natural state. MGP got big, attacked Chuai, rampaged to NYC then attacked NYC.
