I sent Kai on facebook an email before he started adding us as friends. I just sent him the infamous Mutters-is-evil email:

What was James' motivation for sending that photo?

Looks to me like the photo is proof that TheO are global, that they got our message, and that Thermantia and James are a part of it (and at least one other female friend in London).

Other than that info, it doesn't seem to directly relate to the mission as such.

Chippy and I were discussing in IRC that by giving out the photo, it immediately implicates those who've received it as being double-agents. The only way to avoid this is to create a cover-story of having aligned with those in our community who have begun to mistrust the six, and convinced one of them to share the photo they recently received.

But we figure it's best to run that past Lhall before doing so, as she's the one who made the decision to share it.

What do you think, Lhall?



EDIT: I guess what we're talking about here is actually in a sense part of a "Code of Ethics" for divulging information shared in UF with IG characters...

With momonga's permission I uploaded the photo of Kai and James from the San Francisco Labyrinth Training to my Facebook gallery.

Of course I tagged Kai in it - but when presented with the option to tag James too I just couldn't help myself. FB informed me that he had been sent an email telling him he'd been tagged in a photo, with an invitation to join Facebook, and a friend request - leaving me wondering about my decision (YES----NO).

I wonder if he'll take it up...

After chatting about it in IRC, I think we should wait to get more evidence. If I were Theo, I would seed different photos and information out in case someone leaked it, because it would be easy to trace. Did any other pairs even write to them, yet? From the other thread it seems like nobody else has, but even if it's a few it'll be easy to track back.

And you just know that as soon as Kai flashes it to James, James will text Thermantia to be like, QUICK, FIND THOSE LIARS! and we'll never get any more info out of them.

Just warn Kai that he needs to be careful. Diego specifically said, "We need to get to Kai BEFORE James does, losing the forums and the blogs will make everything harder."

He also thinks we can reach the parallel James who decided not to join Theo, and have him help us instead of work against us. I said I would ask for ideas from everyone on here about how to do that.

Tell Kai that you want to trust him, but are concerned he might be working with Theo. Tell him if he goes to the labyrinth training in SF to help us synchronize the worlds on May 17th that we will prove it to him, but you don't want to send him anything that James could get his hands on.

I will provide the photos to Kai in person for him to verify, but not to take with him.
