What does it mean about the numeric code? Is that something I missed? :S

What a shocker!

LOL - I quit a few days ago, but when I got the e-mail notifying us of the answer test, and I did so much work on compiling the answers in the past, I thought "why not", I might as well fill out the test. Tried to log-in, and couldn't; forgot what the password was to be I guess - it obviously wasn't the password I normally use, so like you said "What a shocker!"

yeah, I spend my whole evening fielding questions as to why people can't sign on.

They forget it is the one they used when the registered to pick up the initial quizzes. BEFORE we were split into teams

The PM's are getting testy too.

I haven't even had a chance to look at M2

I'm going to be away tomorrow, so I won't have a chance to put my answers into the mission report. I seriously need to know what the numeric code means! Please, someone, anyone? I have NFI here!

Never mind. I figured it out after crawling through fifty zillion French posts on the team blog. And I got 30 points! *dances*

I received this email a couple hours ago. I didn't see that anyone else had postedted it:

Bonjour à tous les inscrits au Projet Rivard. Voici quelques infos en vrac concernant la routine de vos opérations :
Good day to every members of the Rivard project. Here's an update regarding mission's routine :

Le système de récupération automatique des données, nom d'utilisateur et mot de passe, est maintenant fonctionnel sur www.therivardproject.com.
Vous pouvez récupérer vous-même, via le courriel que vous avez utilisé à l'inscription, vos données, remplir par la suite votre rapport de mission, et faire des points pour votre équipe.

You can retreive automatically your username and password on www.therivardproject.com. This function is now up and running, and your information will be sent at the email address you used for registration.
After retreiving your user and password, you can access to your Mission report, fill the blanks, and score points for your team.

Mission 01 has a new deadline : April 26 - 12:00 (UTC-4) - we decided to give you a few more hours to submit your answers.

Security - there's too much stress going on in this mission. We ask you to come back to a more collaborative work and communication for the benefit of your research.
Developping more secure spaces for communication is accepted, in each team, but it has to help your team, not tear it appart.

Remeber that each time a member of your team quit, it's more than 30 points per mission that you can't retreive.

Maurice Bishop.

Signing In

OK, I tried again, and this time I got in. I may have been in the whole time - I never got a confirmation, and didn't even know I was signed in.

So I gave them the benefit of the doubt even though I already quit because I did so much work on the answers in the first week. I decided to send them in and try for one last week, but the language barrior might be too much.

So I got 30 points:

"Vous avez gagné / You have made 30 points."

Can someone tell me if I should post them here with a spoiler? We have always done that in the past because this website is out of game, but everything has been so screwy I don't know if I should or not.

Edited: I decided that I am going to use the forum the way we have always used it in the past - it is out of game and we have always posted spoilers so here goes. I got this from over a week of research as well as help from a certain forum. Don't look if you don't want to:

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
1. Acronym of a literary event which is held soon in Quebec + name of the kiosk where to return to you if you want to meet the author of a book on Lucien Rivard.
2. JFK was scheduled to speak after his visit in Dallas. This speech is readily available to anyone since it was written beforehand.
What's the name of the venue where he was supposed to deliver this speech (current name of the venue, not its former, original name)?
3. Jeffrey Cohen left a flower on the grave of a Texan with whom John F. Kennedy had his last breakfast ... What kind of flower was it?
4. Q4 - For a while, I was known as 54018
5. RFK personnally offered protection in exchange of my testimomy against Rivard ...
6. On one of my photographs of voyage from Marseilles, two words are missing. Which are they?
7. At the top of this magnificent flower, I fly high in the sky, I'm mythologic, but most of all I'm a symbol well-known in Dallas
8. The fifth question is an easy puzzle placed somewhere else ...
9. Go to Montreal. Find le Sergent recruteur. Ask for an envelope addressed to Monsieur Paul. Your answer's in it

Complete the sentence. Jack, you know why. ...

M2Q4 – One question to practice your ability to ask for a

helper, in the right place, to get the answer you need.

In Austin, walk on Congress avenue, between 2nd and 3rd,

and complete this phrase :

Look for the ____

(indice = 5 lettres / hint = 5 letters)

M2Q5 – In english :

OUNSDW
RCAERO
PTLLAN
SCNAWK
IEADDS
NJBSEA

M2Q6

?

Take M2Q4's answer, add an S. Me and many other wellknown

personalities are in the same box : Box 10. On what file

in that box am I ?

M2Q7

/indices/RC01.mp3 + /indices/RC02.mp3

Go to the place mentionned on the business card you found.

Ask for the menu with the Marilyn's picture in it. Look

under her dress ...

M2Q8

J'avais du mal à me

j'admirais. Sans elle, je serais déjà tombé.

I set up my meetings on the pontoon level of the Union

nautique du Canal de la Douane. I had a hard time

concentrating on what my informants told me... Afar, just

under the Union's sign, it was her I was admiring. Without

her, I would already have fallen...

M2Q9

You got the package from M2Q2. Identify who's in the

middle of the archive picture.

M2Q10

I'll modify the text of Mission 02, so you can have the

last version accessible at anytime.

M2Q3).

We can already submit the answers for M2 at http://www.therivardproject.com/epreuve
We are using the same code on the answers as we did for mission 1.
(A = 2, J = 5, etc.)

Team FBI won Mission 1, final score 3195 points to Cosa Nostra 2984. Good job and thank you for your help. Very Happy

Edit/Corrected Q6

So Mission is centered around a dead drop in Dallas and a physical location in Austin, and it's a matter of who gets there first...?

*EDIT*

Hey! I got one!

Spoiler (Rollover to View):

Q10: It's the nautical alphabet, and it translates to:

RIVARD
ESCAPE
FROMPR
ISONFO
RHOWMA
NYDAYS

I got a staggering four points!

*returns from weekend away*
*is cheered to see new mission*
*checks blog for answers*

... O_O

53 pages of comments?!

Anyone wanna give a Cosa a hand and nudge me to the answers? I am NOT crawling through 53 pages of comments on the HQ blog, and I obviously can't get to Dallas or Austin to find out if they've made the pickup or not.

EDIT.

... I crawled through 53 pages of comments. x_x

On the plus side, I have all of the answers except for 2, 7 and 9. I also don't think I'm going to get 2 and 9 because my teammates don't seem to realise that q2 is a pickup, and you can't get q9 without getting q2. Correct me if I'm wrong, but has the FBI already gotten the package from q2?

Seriously, Cosas. *shakes head*

Also, q7. 'Go to Paris'. She says it so easily. Oh, yeah, I'll just pull my private jet out of my butt and go for a jaunt, shall I? See you tomorrow when I get back.

W/E. FBI-ers? Did you guys get 2&9 already?
