But thats exaclty my point. We only know what Teddy has said on tape or what we have found. So what we know is only the tip of the iceburg of what teddy knows. Now what if what Teddy knows is only the tip of the iceburg in the whole Plot/Story with some huge elaborate twist which im sure we will get one way or another.

I don't have a clear version of the bridge scene (still waiting for the DVD), but is Teddy the guy with the camera on the bridge? Someone on the different forum suggested that the sequel may follow Teddy and that doesn't sound like that bad of an idea, assuming Teddy knows the answers to our questions.

lol... Okay, because I have all the time in the world, here's how Teddy got from the Chuai Station, to the tanker, to the bridge:

A small group of T.I.D.O. Wave members were sent to the Chuai Station to [originally] infiltrate [as staff/employees] and sabotage the rig, NOT blow it up or anything. But plans changed when they got there. They found that the Chuai Station was more than just a rig. As they were in the midst of escaping- they were caught by the Tagruato guards/ninjas. They stripped them of all evidence of what Tagruato was REALLY doing and decided to let the authorities deal with it. Not wanting the coast guard snooping around, and wanting them off the ship ASAP, they decided to place them on the next Ship headed to NYC. Just hours after the ship left, They were radioed that the rig had been destroyed.

Not realizing that it was the monster that collapsed the rig, the captain kept a normal speed. That was until there was a bloop on the radar. It was big. On deck, the crew couldn't believe their eyes. Something 'big' was headed towards them.

The race was on. Full steam ahead, the ship gave everything it had to outrun the fast approaching monster. Eventually the monster DID catch up, but only for a moment. That's all it took though. As the monster scuffed up against the rig, hundreds of parasites jumped from the creatures back and onto the ship, slaughtering the crew on deck and chasing the remaining members below.

Teddy and the other members of the environmentalist felt the scuff, heard the screams, but locked in the ship's holding room- had no idea what sort of hell was unleashed on the ship... But they had an idea of what caused it. As the screaming became less and less, they could only hear the sound of their own breathing as they sat in complete darkness. Eventually, slow steps came their way. The door unlocked and a blood stained captain stood before them. He released them of their handcuffs and simply said, 'death has come.' As soon as he got the last word out, his abdomen bloated up and exploded. Fighting tooth and nail to the surface, to a secure location on the ship where they could be safe and escape if needed, 4 members perished along their hopeless journey: 2 by being completely torn apart by the parasites, 1 by being bitten/exploding, and 1 by a crazed, trigger-happy crew member who barricaded himself in a supply closet. Finally, they reached the command center; the one place that was secure and could escape from if necessary. As they did so, they saw Lady liberty in the distance. Just miles away, the engine finally died. And they slowly drifted into an area near the SOL.

Seeing this as the perfect time to escape, they found the nearest dingy/lifeboat and fled. They thought they were safe, but then it came. the monster burst from the water, causing the tanker to capsize, that sent an enormous wave their way [irony]. Their life raft had been destroyed in the process, one of the surviving 3 members drowned.

Teddy and the surviving member emerged from the water, onto the shore, just in time to see the tanker explode. As it did so, the monster made its way to the city. The only way for Teddy and surviving member to escape now, was the bridge.

yeah, it was something that I had been conjuring up for a long time... I always thought it would make a great prequel.
