 		maybe...
there were bigger versions of the paristic creatures that fell off of MGP...it just diddnt come up in the movie..
but are those parasites related to MGP or are they just another species?
if they were...that...could be the momma/daddy.
lol..just a thought.

JJ Abrams said in an interview, that the monster uses a building to scratch his back, and they are like fleas coming off him.

this is when the news camera is in the street and the parasite attacks the army guy. You can see MGP rubbing against the building.

They cut the scene right when the tail hits the bridge.
It wasn't long enough to even see the bridge start to collapse.
