to me it looks exactly like the symbol, with the SoL's arm being the sword.

Thats not quite a theory rather a discovery. but yeah thats quite the small album cover. anyone have a bigger shot of the album cover maybe we could get a better look at it. to me tho i must say it does look like the logo

Also another thing I just realized. Wiki has posted 17+ songs for the album yet that album that you posted fuzzz only has 9 songs

EDIT: I didn't make it the 1-17-08 party in NYC, but I think that may be the one that they gave away there.

Yes, the Wiki cover was a giveaway from "Rob's party" in NY.

The other cover is the Target exclusive CD that you get if you buy Cloverfield. It is a stripped down version of the "Rob's Party" CD.

BTW, I don't think they are the same symbol. The swirl on the sword symbol is much more centered. The flame on the statue of liberty is closer to the top.
