Being Thumos with secondary strength Mythopaeia, every cell in my body cries out to do this.
I only hope we can figure out how to register as soon as possible.

This chapter fascinates me. I was thinking after reading it of the most significant life-changing (world-creating!) decision I've made in the last four years. Had I decided differently, my life would be very different indeed I suspect. I'm sure we all have these decisions and I'm sure all of us wonder 'What if?' from time to time. Probably never while running a labyrinth though!

Now that we have the technology to do so, I suspect that an online labyrinth register would be the most practical. Something which we can all add to when we decide to run our own Personal Labyrinths. It'll be incredible to see other people's world-changing decisions. I feel like I want to go and watch Sliding Doors now! A perfect film for Chapter 19.

Could one of us, or Kai perhaps, make an online register? I can't imagine it would be too complicated. Although I don't understand how it can be kept in an omphaloi... could the labyrinth register be related to the omphaputer somehow? I'm sure it's not coincidence that Trailer IV and Chapters 19 and 20 were released at the same time.

As for the translation, it's really no big deal. I enjoy doing it and I appreciate that, as a student, I have a bit more free time than a lot of people here who have full-time jobs, kids, other commitments. And thank you so much unagi for always having the answers to my questions, to the words I just can't get!

I've already started working on something like this, but I need a lot of help... send me a PM (anyone!) if you're interested in collaborating. Smile I posted a video message to Kai asking if they could lend a hand, but so far, no reply.

It seems to me like the chapter is written like this register already exists somewhere (not something that we'd need to create), so I agree it'd make sense if it was connected to the omphaputer. (Hopefully, when Ariadne blogs about this chapter, she'll have more of an idea.)

just spec, but I'm fairly confident it has to do with the omphalos knots.
remember the image of the omphalos has a 'net' type lattice around it, likely considered here as knots. And earth has been referred to as an omphalos somewhere, yes?

Tweet from Ariadne:

oh my god! we need a personal labyrinth register. how should we make it? where should we put it? sophrosune, mythopoeia, dikaisoune HELP

It's become a Sophrosune and Mythopoeia mission. So, it looks like we do need to set something up ourselves after all...

Don't forget the Codex has been written a long time ago - maybe the registers existed then, but no longer do ?

this is becoming the epitome of ARG. the world wide collective. the collaboration. the amazing experiences. that thrill when the site goes live and the location is determined. the electric energy going through someone's body when they find the artifact. wonderous!!

Absolutely true, Kona.
Pure mindblowing magic.
Which is why I'm back here after, uh, quite a hiatus (oh, hi folks! Wink ).
Not that I have the time to start ARGing again, frankly. But I must jump in this one. It's just too good.
I'm so screwed. Laughing

Okay, I'm not sure I understood that. You need to choose a deliberate life change, or you reflect on something you can now see (at 4 years' perspective) made a life change?

I'm reading it to mean you're supposed to look at a major, life-changing decision you made over the past 4 years, and imagine what your life would be like if you'd made a different decision...

I'm reading it the same way. Whatever decision you made, your alternate self made the opposite one. Is your better or worse because of the decision, and that reflection of synchronization allows you to understand yourself better.

Life-changing personal-labyrinth run?
We could suggest this to meihui,
twitter:

Need a change in her life...

eta:
ah, she's been sick Sad
With the help of Babel translate, I asked her what she thinks of ch 19.

I think you can write to her in English- she wrote this to me about practicing English when I told her I have a friend who speaks Mandarin:

help_meihui just write me messages here and there. Then I can practice and get better?! ^o^ about 20 hours ago

That's great! Very Happy Thanks Jasper, I've been looking for Mandarin speaking players, I figured that Artifact Codex 19(and the other codex) should be translated to Mandarin in her blog for easy reading.

eta:
Is it okay that I add #lostring on my twitters to meihui?

translation is important for the codex- but sending her a note in English is fine, I think. and I think if I was relying on a bablefish translation in any situation, I'd also include what I really meant in English.

you can put @help_meihui and #lostring as far as I know.
