I had told him that the necklace must be very valuable for someone to go to these extremes to get it. I also told him to be careful.

Fee was able to tell Jay what happened to her. This is pieced together, as she's still having problems with long sentences, but the jist is there.

She was just getting around to going to bed, it was around 3 or 4 am, but she couldn't sleep and she heard a big engine pulling up the driveway. She went to the door of her cottage and saw a man getting out of a big truck, that was sort of like a Hummer or Suburban, it was either too dark for her to see clearly, or she just can't remember, and probably the latter.

She thinks that since she had some lights on, he headed to her place instead of the offices, as that's where he was closest too in the beginning. She turned to put the lights out, but he'd already seen them.

He forced his way into her place and grabbed her as she was trying to run upstairs to get the gun. We're assuming she keeps it with her, but didn't to just close up the house.

He was yelling about something that she couldn't understand, while beating her around. All she got was expletives and that he was definitely looking for something, and thought she had it, or knew where it was. Something about "PIs" and "Q" and that she would pay for people looking for the group. She isn't sure, but obviously Jay is confident that he had to be working for VG.

In the struggle to get away from him and to the gun, he threw her down the stairs, and I guess Mee-uw jumped at him or something. He hurled the cat and stomped it when it came back at him.

Since he'd finally let go of her, Fee was trying to get up stairs to help the cat, and maybe to calm him downm or at least see if he would tell her what he was looking for, and he grabbed her by the hair and hit her into the wall.

After the original struggles, he may have used some type of stunning device on her, and tied her up in her office. She won't talk about that part. She did say that he looked like an older version of Chance, which really bothered her. Then he started to ransack her place. She may have passed out, she doesn't know for sure. He also must have went to the other office and the other buildings, since that would be the only time he could have done that, if that's the case, she must have been out for a long time.

We're unclear about how she got back downstairs, and I'm not certain she's completely sure either. She does remember that he had hold of her, she was still tied up at that point. She remembers he was trying to get her outside the cottage, and that's when she started to really fight. (which makes sense, letting anyone move you - especially by car - reduces your chances of escaping alive.)

He slammed her into the door frame, and she fell into and over the porch railing as he started down the stairs, and finally lost hold of her. (We don't know if she did this on purpose or he did it.)

She ran for the creek as it was a good place to hide and she'd have shade. Also, the closest neighbors are that direction. He shot her as she was reaching the big oak that begins the tree line.

It seems he didn't follow her after he saw her fall right after shooting her. We think that's because he probably realized a gun shot sometime around 10:00am or Noon on a week day from the Hope Ranch area would get the neighbor's attention.

Fee spent a lot of time trying to get untied, and managed it somehow. She said she used a rock or something that she crawled into. She managed to get her shirt off and plug the wound, but must have passed out shortly after that.

Jay did get into the main office today, unguarded, but he really can't tell what is missing besides the two computers and the files for Fee, Chance, Bobbie and the expedition. They did take a box of samples from a dig the campers didat some point, which we have no idea why. The only reason Jay can figure is that it was stowed in the "Check this area again" part of the storage cabinet, and it may have had some of the old coins and stuff from the dig on one of the buildings.

He knows that Fee's computer is gone, and is going to try and get the school to let him into her computer there. He'd have to wait for the PD to get a warrant though, and in the mean time, he has to convince them that it's worth it.

I'll update as new information comes along. Fee is now in a regular room, and even though she is sleeping a lot, she is trying to get the story together, as you can see. I doubt there's much more to tell, unless she can shed more light on what he was saying.

There are some new entries in Bobbie's journal.

I got an email from the fake Kronos yesterday asking me if I thought Bobbie had found the necklace, but was hiding it. I told him that I would find that highly unlikely. Anyway, I emailed Bobbie to let her know that and also tell her that I was leading VG to believe that Fee is dead. I got a response back this evening:

I truly did not find any necklace, nor did anyone on my team. You are
telling the absolute truth on that. I would document it, because it is the
right thing to do. Also, so if it should go missing, then there's a record
of some sort as to when it was last seen and where.

I'm so glad you caught me in Tuva, as I just updated my online journal.
It's 6 AM Thursday, May 29 here, and I am heading for the village and
more "curing" at the hands of Shagaa. I am most uncomfortable with that
idea, and I hope this doesn't end up like last time, with me having even
more dreams. I'm having enough of those already.

Have you or any of your associates heard anything from Kronos? Chance? I don't know whether to be scared, worried, angry, or all of the above. Or maybe I should say all at once....

Please take care of my friends and look after them for me. Each and every one of you are in my thoughts no matter how blithe I may sound in my postings.

Jay and I do think that the G in VGLLC might be "Group", but that didn't come from Fee's documents, more what her attacker kept saying and how he said it.

I wish I had more to report on that. On Fee I have good news: she's really recovering nicely, and I think anger is pushing it forward. She's mad. And hurt. And you don't do either of those things to a woman and not expect her to want vengeance.

[Spec] I think the second clue will be to anagram "askoracle", which I have tried a couple of times in the past, but nothing really relevant comes from it. The only thing that sort of makes sense that I've noticed is that it anagrams to "ask La Core", but even that is sketchy to me.

 		Yeah, this is starting to get really interesting. I've been talking to Bobbie and she's beginning to believe her dreams are real, which I can totally understand from her viewpoint. I also talked to Fee briefly yesterday. I haven't really came across anything new.
