I got an email from Fee. It was pretty long, but didn't have any new info.

I'm curious to see where this goes now and how we'll get involved.

Hi Heather,
At this time we are booking summer sessions for the Excavations and
Expeditions program to work on the Hope Ranch Foundation site. If we have
enough sign ups, I plan to have this group work on the second site that
Chance uncovered on the ranch, and we have had some readings (both
chemical and depth imaging) that indicate there is a burial on that site,
as well as the flotsam and jetsam of everyday life.

If things go as planned, and we have enough people for that excavation,
the field program will consist of basic archaeological practices of
mapping out the site, laying out the grid and then doing the actual
digging, collecting the finds in specimen bags and doing some preliminary
lab work in the Hope Ranch labs, before turning the finds over to the
University of Missouri - Columbia for carbon dating and further study, as
needed. We work closely with them on all of our field work, so it's a
great way for new archaeologists to get some time in with the technicians
there, as well as here at Hope Ranch.

We have openings for 20 adults in the 2008 Excavations and Expeditions
program, as the first session will begin in August. This is the direct
link for the Registration form (I hope, as I'm lousy with these web
things): http://hoperanchfoundation.org/HopeRanchRegistration.doc. It
includes all of the dates and information that you will need for registry.

Unfortunately, if you are inquiring about the expedition to Tuva, Siberia,
all team slots have been filled as of March 1, 2008. However, if you'd
like to forward your information for future expeditions, it wouldn't hurt,
as Bobbie is always looking for experienced archaeologists,
anthropologists and graduate students for her outside projects, with the
Hope Ranch Foundation worldwide expeditions.

Thank you so much for your email, and if I can be of further assistance,
please don't hesitate to contact me.

Sincerely,
Fee

On the blog under 'welcome seeker'
Quote:
The path begins in the Mediterranean Sea. A land of desert and oasis...
Names will take you a step further along the trail:
One is an ancient city located in Greece, in southeastern Boeotia, south of Thebes. A battle occurred there in 479 BC.
Which would be Plataea or Plataeae

Quote:
Another commemorates a naval battle that occurred at the strait between Piraeus and the island of this name in 480 BC.
= Salamis

Under the 'There are three sections ...' entry it kinda explains the T A Nine and says,
Quote:
I will give you one invaluable clue.... Bobbie and Fee are even more clueless than you might be at this time. But all will be made clear as the kronos turns....

I.m not going to work any of this 'cause it's past my bedtime and this all may be trout anyway. Fuzzy-brain.

There's a new blog on askoracle's myspace page that tells you how to decode the morse code clues as we get them.

Bobbie appears to be updating her journal while she is on the expedition. There is a new entry here:

http://hoperanchfoundation.org/BobbiesJournal.doc

Her dreams are getting worse and we learn more about Kronos.

I emailed Chance, the guy from kronos' letter, i sent this:

Quote:
hello chance,> I have been watching kronos' archeology expedition with great interest, I> am hoping he will find what he is looking for, he seems to think of Bobbie> as not a threat to anything, but you seem to think differently. What makes> Bobbie so special in this situation? Does she know of the necklace and a> power it holds?> -Garret--

and in reply i got:

Quote:
Hi Garret,You must have found his Live Journal space... Okay - here's the deal. The backers I put together are very interested in this expedition. Theyare looking for some particular artifacts, including a necklace, that theysay they traced to Tuva. Kronos is dangerous to Bobbie and she's a danger to herself Garret. Ididn't know about this Kronos guy until I read her journal. I didn't knowhe was even a player in this. If she doesn't do the job I set up, then thebackers are going to be more than ticked. I don't want to know what theywill do if they get ticked. Are you a friend of this Kronos guy, Garret? If so, could you help me gethim away from Bobbie and this expedition? If you find out anything on thisnecklace and what it has to do with Kronos, then I'd like to know. Hiswebsite ain't telling me much, and Bobbie ain't talking. Regards,C

just thought id let everyone know I was in contact with C, any suggestions for what I should send back?

EDIT: ok, didnt want to double post so ill tack this info on the end of here, in Bobbies journal she talks about her nightmare, and being in a battle and whispering "Salamis", well the Battle of Salamis is a turning point naval battle between Greek and Persia that began to lead to Greece's victory, and it happened just off the coast of the Salamis Island, so maybe the island is involved in this expedition somehow

So at this point the Morse is pointing to 3 separate puzzles, one starting with T anonther with A and the third with 9.

Still don't know what to do with Plataea and Salamis...

That was my understanding.

I got another email from Fee, but again, nothing really new. All I found out is that she doesn't trust Chance and thinks he's the one behind the morse code we've been finding. Apparently, he is the one who maintains the Hope Foundation Ranch website.

Here is an email I sent to Fee when she asked how I got Bobbie's journal:

Quote:
A gentleman by the name of Chance Thompson, a member of your staff I believe, posted the journal through a link on your web page. I hope his actions aren't in violation of your organization's policies or of someone's trust. I believe he posted the document either as an effort to protect Bobbie or in a jealous fit. You can find reference to this at this web site:

http://kronos480bc.livejournal.com/

I assure you, I didn't mean to invade anyone's privacy. I am merely interested in the activities of the Hope Ranch and Bobbie's work on her current expedition. Please tell me how I can help.

Here is her response:

Quote:
I didn't mean to accuse you of anything. In fact, I am so
glad that you emailed with that information.

Chance is indeed a member of Hope Ranch, and is also becoming rather a
pain for Bobbie and myself.

I believe it was from spite, honestly stated. I was able to get a message
through to the team's hosts in Tuva. They check in with Bobbie and the dig
team at least once a week, and I have no idea where it will go from there.
Believe me, if I had access to the Hope Ranch website, then I'd pull that
off of there.

Chance is a different person since last November at least. I have always
been a little shy of him, but recently his insistence at secrecy on all
things having to do with his money people and now he's completely
disabused Bobbie's trust of him, and I'm not sure what to do.

One thing that Bobbie and I have been trying to find out, is who these
investors are. All we know is that they are from Texas and that they made
some deal with Chance concerning this expedition and relics/artifacts. I
don't know... would you be willing to help me find information on them, if
I can get Chance to give me any clues?

All I know is that they have money, they are in Texas and they are
interested in treasure hunting, which they call archaeology. Other than
that, I don't have a clue where to go. Someone had emailed with
information on the Kronos480BC site, and about morse code, and I have no
idea whether that would be information or not.

Thank you so much for this email and all my best to you,
Fee

So it doesn't seem that Chance is too popular with Bobbie and Fee. He has been lured to the dark side!

I'm the "someone" she was talking about... Very Happy

I'm thinking about contacting Chance and not saying anything about my contact with Fee....not sure yet.

I've been enjoying this one myself. Considering what it is tied to, I think it's pretty well done.

Did anybody get any clues from the video on askoracle's myspace site? Here is a list of the images:

Golden waves
Satellite image of Greece
Picture of an island under a setting sun
4 hands gripping wrists
Greek 3 picture with inverted V's
Leonidas coffee box
Woman's face superimposed on a burning temple

Golden waves
4 apples on a tree
CD that looks like a clock without hands
Central Union High School (home of the Spartans)
Map of Greece
Satellite image of Greece

Golden Waves

It almost seems like the Golden Waves are used to mark sections, but I don't see why. Also, why are some of the images repeated? It must mean something...

Leonidas coffee is referencing one of the kings of Sparta who had a wife named Gorgo who had a necklace. So I guess this is who Kronos is looking for.

That would be my guess. One of his original posts on his blog was about his famous family he's from and how they are members of royalty, artists..blah, blah, blah. So yeah, I believe he's looking for Gorgo's necklace.

I would imagine there's something significant about that necklace since both he and Chase's "backers" are interested in it.
