Its the symbol of the Slusho/Clover cult from the Manga. Or at least thier more militant branch (ie the 'Tag Ninjas' paramilitary). The symbol appears on the websites the Cult now controls, Slusho, Tag, TidoWave (captured afer the 'Event' and now dissuading people looking for thier enemies) and Jamies website (shes either a cultist now, having eaten enough DSN for 100 slushos, or they captured/recovered her computer after she was nice enough to call them and let them know where she was). It does not appear on sites the cult does not control (ie the Myspace pages and the MTH blog).*

Why its on the DVD case stickers, hard to say...

So, still, i dont know what this really means. Obviously, there is a missing video file. Yes Alyse has found it, but she cant access it because there is a login attached to it. Now what i CANT figure out is, WHERE THE HELL IS THIS VIDEO?! Could it be on the dvd? i mean, the other video files that are on the dvd have tags on them, like Gx, Vd, Vx (or something to that effect), which tells me that the most probable place to look for this missing file would be on the dvd itself. Has anybody taken the dvd and put it in their pc yet? Try putting it in your dvd drive, and instead of letting it open, go to my computer, and explore the dvds contents. Maybe its hidden in the files on the dvd itself? Like i said, trout me if ya gotta, but i really am interested in this. I highly doubt that this website is OOG, mainly because all the new shit popping up is surrounding Teddy mainly. So if someone could check this out, and reply as soon as someone finds some type of new info, i for one would be really grateful...

Thanks for the trout, lol. like i said, i didnt know if this had been addressed or not yet. And yes, i was paraphrasing also..did that post not use the word video? did it just say missing file? Oh well, i wasn't sure, but now it seems like it most definitely IS a video file, because it is a GX file just like the other video files on the dvd. But yeah, sorry once again for repeating someone elses post.

Did anybody answer this yet or research any part of it at all yet though? has anybody run the dvd in their computer and explore under my computer n take a look at all of the individual files on the dvd?? just asking cuz im curious myself and i dont own the dvd yet unfortunately, cuz my ass is broke, lol.

I personally kinda think that the sword logo is kind of telling us which websites have been hacked or taken over by tagruato. Take TIDO for instance. No new posts about getting pro-active for the cause, or even a tiny blurb about recycling or ANYTHING along those lines. The last message written went something along the lines of "Stop what you are doing. No one is coming to help you. Give up."--That personally says to me that its tagruato sending a mass message to people that are still doing their thing and looking to TIDO for further instruction, telling them to give up their plight. Im just using TIDO as an example, and i dont have any other examples to give that would point in that direction, but it WOULD make sense for them to do that, wouldn't it? I gotta say yes. The sword is an indicator that Tagruato, or even the US Government, is Hacking all of these ARG websites, and this is just another tool they will be using to further the "game" just a little bit farther.

 		Being that the sword logo appears on the DVD's 'government seal' I'd say it's a government agency or group and not Tagruato placing it there. I get that it's sort of a marker after the fact of the 'incident' of what is falling into evidence. Considering the way things are being tied together by the image, I think in an in-game sense it's being used to bring all of the items in line with each other, and in an out-of-game sense it's being used to mark what's official. Problem with the latter is that we've hijacked it and stuck it on our fan sites (CloverfieldClues.com, Cloverfield Despoiler Wiki, and others I'm sure).

But personally, I don't care whether its in-game or not. I've been in this forum since the beginning pretty much and the fact that this is providing slight entertainment is more than enough for me.

As for the symbol, I believe that it is a government agency's symbol marking evidence. This is because the places marked online with it are on the Supplemental Files in the DVD which is supposed to be an "investigation."
