If it's under the case name "Cloverfield" it could have originally been a file on the seabed nectar and the monster just got shoved into it since he's connected. Or he was created, etc etc, by eating seabed nectar. Just a thought. I still think the case existed before the NYC attack and they never saw that happening so they didn't alert anyone.

Part of me think thats Alyse made a big mistake in talking about a government/multi-million dollar corporation's dirty secret in a public blog and might have gone off to meet with a...I dunno, I guess a "silencing" fate. But didn't we all think Jamie walked in to a world of hurt when she called Tagruato? Some people (read:me) even thought the bump on the door in the "drunken" video was someone about to burst in on her. And then she made it to the party and passed out on the couch.

I've followed the threads, the articles, the interviews and everything else. I know Drew Goddard and Matt Reeves had nothing to do with the ARG, but at the end of the day they were both contract employees for Paramount through Bad Robot and both of those companies have a lot more to make on building a strong fan base around Cloverfield (read:us). Having said that, I think Teddy is a great off-screen (depending on how you vote on him being in that cameo shot) and if Cloverfield was a single incident that concluded when they dropped the Hammer Down on CLover in Central Park.....then the most interesting story to me is the naive Environmentalist who worked for a corrupt corporation, found himself on an oil rig and discovered that not only were they abusing nature by harvesting a finite, potentially dangerous substance, but also around that substance was an entirely new species of parasite and a dormant prehistoric creature that could have swung the brontosaurus around like a sack of potatoes.

Factor in the miserable girlfriend who doesn't believe him and the terrorist buddies who failed to follow up on his attempts to expose what SBN was in it's pure form and seriously, what else can a guy come home to but the one sibling who still believes in him? At least Rob got to tell Beth he loved her before all Hell broke loose.

I think Teddy's the main guy, I hope Alyse is ok and I want my ARG.

A note about the double post - once there's a reply to the thread the last post can no longer be deleted by the user. So Monstrous in an act of irony, you told IncidentCloverfield to use the X button and in that act prevented them from using the X button. Oops!

For those considering making an Alyse Hanssen blog - look to The Effect as an example of how to create a para-game element that doesn't attempt to be true gamejack or properly IG. It has something of an IG feel, but is meant to be clearly OOG. I'm not so sure The Effect was as clearly labeled as OOG as some would have liked, but if you looked into it you'd find that out and the intent is to show yourself as OOG. I would not use it to complain to the PMs about the pace of updates. Keep in mind that one apparent intent of the PMs is to drive us batshit insane, which obviously keeps us hungry for more.

Also work just dropped a ton of stuff on me I am not going to have much time to work on a blog. I have to master and get certified on 2 high end apps by June. So going to have a lot of homework for first time in 15 years

When you refer to double posting, you mean posting the same thing twice right?? im asking because sometimes i post twice, but its always in response to two different things, so what im doing wouldnt really be considered double posting would it??

Going to go out on a limb here and make a prediction about what and where our next update will be.

I predict that Alyse's blog will soon have a post saying something like "Just stop" and the Sword Logo will appear on the blog somewhere. Indicating that the government or Tag has taken over the blog (and presumably Alyse)
