Good point! I always assumed the USGX site was IG because you needed DVD information in order to enter the website, and considering the content of the website I wouldn't think someone would spend a lot of time photoshopping the images. (Or would they... Confused ) While theoretically I know it's possible that someone created the sites, I guess by the time the site was found it was well after the DVD release. It just seemed IG, at least for me! So naturally when MTH lead to the USGX website, I just assumed MTH was also IG. Up until now of course.

At first I was so excited at all the new information and now I'm just suspicious. Crap.

Edit: And I agree with the comment before me, I think out of the 3 options it's definitely #2.

I just thouhgt it was funny that if a person hacked the site again and posted those e-mails, Then why would all of those comments show up at the same time. [/quote]

Well it seems perfectly logical to me that a gamejacker that got in and would post something misleading would also go ahead and approve comments that the PMs never would as well. Screws with the players ever the more and as I said to mislead is of the greatest value of a gamejacker.

As for the IG nature of the USGX site, it appears the earliest leaks of the DVD were at about 4/1, and that site was registered 2/29. Someone would've had to have gotten a VERY early leak of the DVD to get that site made, and we've not seen leaks that didn't get put out to the internet as fast as possible. Makes the chances of the USGX site being IG vs a gamejack lean far more to the legitimate.

I'm more likely to go with Dennis' judgement on this one.

ETA: Indeed, the 'new post' with the incredibly convenient expository post is gone.

 		the long comment that had a reference to Cloverfield has just been removed. it was on there when i first looked at the site and posted above, and now it's gone.

The counts are the same, but the ones that wouldn't have been approved are now just reading as 'comment deleted by blog administrator'.

Gamejacker repulsed.

ah yes, my apologies. i just skimmed over the comments because i noticed the count had gone from 38 when i first looked, to 37 when i looked again. i assumed they had taken off the long comment about Cloverfield.

 		checked the blog and it gone. now 26 comments remain instead of the 38 but a few say removed by admin. So Euchre you were right the site was hacked again and that was a load of BS. Good Call.
