Hi, I'm new to this, but I find it fascinating, I've been sucked into this ARG world from this MuchMusic "hacker", I really don't have the time for this, but I can't help myself!

I'm not sure if you've read everything, if you have I apologize in advance.
First off the site "6152410.ath.cx" was found fairly early and has to be involved, the "project parameters" all relate to things the phreak has said in some manner or other. I've tried different combos of participant ID's and passwords to no avail.

Other theories-
"Sweet Mary Christmas" seems to be a favorite saying of his, someone mentioned somewhere that the 6152410 site comes out of Christmas Island, Chritsmas Island was discovered on Christmas day by the "Royal Mary" ship, have no idea what the revelance, if any it has.

Also the prevailing opinion is that it is VJ Devon (something or other), one person mentioned that they thought it was VJ Paul Brothers, after some quality time with Google I think it's more likely to be Paul as well, I don't know if this matters in the least.

"First Time Caller" posted on the Dabbler blog about being "in the game" I'm assuming he meant he is past the 6152410 login page, but he won't illuminate us.............I'm frustrated. Any ideas from the seasoned pros?

And I'm in that same boat, m'dear. I'm frustrated because although I know it's probably viral marketing for the MMVAs, I don't know if there's a game going along with it. I'm kinda starting to guess there isn't (even though I really want there to be) because nothing's really coming out. The 6152410 site could be just a (whole lot of) coincidence. And I wonder if First Time Caller knows something we don't. Oh well, I'm stuck watching until it's over - which is of course just what they hoped for.

Ya, you're right, I'm going to just wait and see.
Although I can't help but notice how quiet Mark and first time caller are, I can't help but think they are playing the game and I am missing out. But I guess it is the weekend, people get busy..............or Mark is in on it!

hmmm the phreak615 site is down? A glitch or a major marketing breakdown? Oh well, at least the whole thing opened my eyes to the maddeningly addictive ARG world.....

Heh. Funny story. A friend told me about this today, and I googled it; only to find a UF thread. I haven't been here in ages.

Anyway; there's no way Much is behind this, considering I heard that it cut into advertising time on a few occasions. I don't think Much's sponsors would be too happy about paying for a spot that gets interrupted. I could be wrong.

Hopefully this 'pop culture activism' results in some good music being played for a change.

that request was in response to "Mike V"'s submission... phreak615 has responded ddirectly to individuals in his blog a lot, so I'd say that mailing address request was specifically for Mike V.

MM is definitely behind this, any advertising that has been interupted would be MM's own commercials.

It's just silly advertising.......
