the only one that we can be unsure of getting killed is lily. the fact that rob doesn't say her name at the end is odd, and also, in the "special effects" part of the DVD extras, they confirm that the fireball that goes flying past the helicopter as soon as it takes off is just a truck. (i always wondered if that was lily's chopper.

I think it's funny how much people obsessed over who died and who lived when the movie first came but then Reeves said (at least twice) on the DVD that they decided it didn't matter who lived. wasn't about that.

he could be playing it down though...

Lily and Beth were SO MUCH hotter than Marlena. are you crazy?

i think both rob and beth lived.

but then again think about it, you never see any of them die, just how they probably died.

jason-could have lived and swam ashore.
marlana-could have had the whole stomach thing, but hell maybe it wasn't as bad as it looked considering we never really saw it (watching that scene now, so cool haha)
hud-we saw him land in the grass, he could be unconscious

thats all EXTREMELY unlikely, but who knows.

Marlena died. there's no question. check out the interviews/video extras -- they refer to her "death"

Hud died as well. They talked about originally building a lower body model, for Hud, to show that he had been chomped into half. but it was deemed too graphic so they cut that out.

does anyone know where this was said? in an interview... somewhere.
