My money would all be on Markus as counter-agono at this point:

1) The strange coincidence of his arrival in York, the same city where Eli was originally.

2) At first, he acted like the least thumos-like Thumos I could imagine.

3) I still feel like the 'second stories' are a red herring, especially now that we know that all of the details on the Omphale painting are wrong.

4) His sudden decision to go to Dubai for unclear reasons.

5) He said that he thought he spotted "Theo" at the airport. First, how would he know what Theo looks like? Second, it seems that "Theo" is a group, not a person.

6) Dude, the hair.

chung-chung (Law and Order noise)

I sent an email about this to Ariadne a couple of days ago, but she is too busy walking labyrinths to respond.

EDIT: oh, and I like the spec that Renata may have been the counter-agono for that group. But wouldn't this also suggest that Jorge and Co., must have had a counter-agono too? Shifty Eyes

I think we also need to make sure we dont rule out the possibility that more than one of our contacts so far are part of 'The O'

Ariadne is suspicious of him, or at least complains that he is secretive.
Didn't he also steal from the guy who was helping him? That could have been the reason for the orange hair- in case that guy gave the police his description.

Well, the failed, didn't they? Maybe they say how before the end of the codex.

We are seeing how pms are trying to create kaos around Theos identity. Everybody is Theo suspicious...
What should we do? Should we follow with all this efforts trying to figure out who Theo is?[/spoiler]

Normally I would say, yes, that is our job to figure it out. But considering, how FTLR has been designed up to now - I would say: Just wait a few days than we will get the information, who Theo is Wink

Can one of our Japanese speakers translate Noriko's latest Tweet?

Quote:
う~ん、カリフォルニアに来た理由をまとめた方がいいみたいですね。。。 そういえば、テオ(?)からの葉書の写真をとっていなかったので、ゴーグルしか載せてないですよね。渡した人にリクエストして、まとめます☆

An awful translation from Babel Fish:
Quote:
う? Is, the method which collected the reason where it comes to California to call, we would like to try, don't you think? is. . . So if you say, テオ (?) Because the photograph of the empty postcard was not taken, only the goggle it is placed, is, don't you think?. Requesting to the person who transfers, it collects, *

try http://translator.wikibruce.com to compare multiple auto-translators...

I'd probably say it's something like:
I want to understand what happened in California. You think it was Theo? He didn't take the postcard photograph, but he wrote on the goggles. Can the person who has the postcard summarize it?
*shrug*

Translate.google.com wrote:
Mmm ... I, the reason I came to California together like better. . . Come to think of it, Theo (?) From postcards for not taking photos, share your goggles not only is it? Passed on the request to the summary ☆

Here's a thought to help elimination.

Would a CA participate in a labyrinth training event or personal labyrinth? I mean, by doing so would help create synchronization.. if that's what they are trying to avoid.

Just wondering if we could eliminate folks that way....

I know! Trying to decipher the various translations is a puzzle on its own. Thanks, Rivanor!

Will be interesting to see what reasons she gives for coming to CA...

How about Lucie? In the collage on TheLostRing her picture is the only one that does not seem to complete the circle around Ariadne that the picture of the others form.

Not if you do it wrong. Just make a mistake *on purpose* and the whole synchro thing does nothing. And I mean a big mistake, like drawing an inverted labyrinth, giving a false timestart, even telling the wrong date to the runners and walls so they don't go all the same day...

I find a lot of ways a CA could "participate"

Yeah, I don't think we can check people off for participating, especially this early in the labyrinth runs. We're not synchronizing yet and misinterpretations of how to run could weasel their way into our practices. I think there's a lot of harm to be done by CA's if they play it right.
