I am not the greatest at IRC yet, but it was explained to me like this by Omega:
Download mIRC from here: http://www.mirc.com/get.html

Install and run. An "unregistered" dialog will pop up. Wait a few seconds and then hit continue.

You should get an mIRC Options dialog (if not, go to Tools->Options). In the "Connect" category, go to "Servers."

On the right, click "Add."

For description, type anything, irc server, put: irc.chat-solutions.org, leave the rest, and click "Add."

With your new server selected in the list, click "Select." The dialog will change. Click "Connect."

IRC will open a new window and connect you to the server. After it loads, type: /join #HTH

You should be in channel #HTH. You're done! If you want to change your name, type: /nick whatever_name_here

I am wondering has the Doc set people up to splinter the group? I do not know what is going on but obviously it is harmful.

OK, I just had a nice long talk with the Trailmaster.

I was misinformed by someone who didn't know what they were talking about. It apparently wasn't intentional and simply the side effect of the "chain of command".

I apologize for the misinformation, in the same manner that they apologized to me for misinformation.

OK, I just Got in from Being away all day. I see there are about 20 new pages of posts spread out ofver a couple of threads, so before I start to wade through it all did anything important happen other than :

A) A scavenger hunt starts in about 30 minutes

B) This game IS somehow linked to 48HIP? (Do I need to read up on that? Anything That I really need to know?)

fishjp, that's about it. You'll want to register for the scavenger hunt at hurtstoheal.com. And H2H is linked to 48 in that two of the characters, Mark (Doc) and Kristin (BEX) are in both experiences. You don't need to know anything about 48 to participate in H2H. There's a thread for the scavenger hunt at the the H2H forum and one here as well.
