Oh, great. I get sick for 2 days and the whole world explodes.

So this was just a "let's see how many impossible tasks they do" kind of contest? First the massive recruitment, then the 30 RIP's and then look, here's a pic you'll never know where it's taken from because it's from an obscure cemetery noone has ever seen.

If this is really the end, I feel cheated.

But why on Earth would we Have typed in Boston, England? It wasnt until moments before the end that we were given the Boston Clue. I mean if we had had it 20 hours earlier, sure we would have found it.

Because we all knew she grew up in "Boston"... that's why we all looked at Boston, MA cemeteries multiple times. Had one of just just thought "maybe there's another Boston" we would have come to the final answer. One little twist, and it leads you straight to the answer. Frankly, I'm disappointed in myself for not thinking of it.

I am disappointed in the end of this game. If it is the end. I will keep my eyes open. I do wonder what the point was for recruiting soo many people if this was going to be such a short program. I have never played a ARG game and this really perked my interest. I don't know if it is worth getting involved in another game if this is what it comes down to. I am going to hope this isn't all there is.

Thank you to everyone for making me feel welcome for being such a newby and all. It was fun.

Well, we don't know with any certainty if this is over yet. But if it is, there are some great games going on right now. Just look around and you're sure to find one. Don't let this one turn you away.

Most ARGs don't go like this, trust me. Just take a look around the News and Rumors section, that's a good place to get in on a game when it's just starting, or check around some of the various game-specific forums to see if anything there catches your interest.

Ponie, the intention was to create a deeply immersive experience. We were made to feel something for this girl, a stranger, and we did all in our power to save her. In life things don't always turn out as we'd wish even after our best efforts. The same is true in alternate realities.

If your interest is piqued, please join us at 48HiP, where you'll learn more about these characters and their stories. Doc today is quite different from the psychology student we met several months ago. He only wanted to help people. Some of you must be curious about what turned him into the guy we've seen recently.

I have to say I agree whit twinkles.I feel guys centred too much in America, which is ok, I get it, the big majority of you are Americans and the most ARGs are mainly for American audiences so it's easier to remember the American cemeteries. The next time we get something like this, in any game, try to think a little more globally.

Also having read that page the quote in twitter lead me to, the idea of keeping a record, that is repeated several times there is a good one. We could from time to time have posted what cemeteries had already been ruled out ( although we did rule out England and that turned out to be a mistake). Also the hole thing with forming groups was probably so each group could search a different country. In case of USA maybe we could have assigned a state for each player in a group, although that probably would make things worse.

I realize its a little late to be saying this but maybe it can serve has advise for another time.
Not trying to be a jerk, I just wouldn't like to see this sort of thing happen over and over again.

I disagree, I think we really did all we could with what we were given. Maybe if there was a little more detail in the pic, or of something about it stood out more, we'd have had a better chance, but as it is, it could've been any cemetery anywhere. We couldn't even be 100% sure it was a cemetery from that picture.

Unless the PMs were seriously expecting us to search every cemetery in the world, in which case screw that, that's ridiculous.

Dude, I checked cities in England, France, Scotland, Ireland, Argentina, Canada, Italy... and many other places... Boston, UK isn't all that big or renowned, and the cemetery technically wasn't even in Boston... Every other location in the task was known pretty much worldwide, this was definitely an outlier... no matter what country you're from. I mean, I didn't check small USA towns at all, so I definitely do not think American centrism is an issue

Agreed. I searched England for a good part of yesterday and I can't see how we were supposed to intuit it wasn't a landmark like the other photos. That's a blind corner, easy to see in retrospect but only if you know it's there.

I too checked England, Spain, France, Germany, Austria, Italy, Switzerland...

And, to be honest, it *never* occurred to me that there was a Boston in England. Based on the past information we had about Kristin Chalmers, there was no reason to think it wasn't in the US.

I too checked globally - I checked every single cemetery on this list:

and more.
