You are in the Needle now. It is a code word that was developed in Project Ophiucus to refer to this forum while in "In Game" Sites. This is a thread so the needle Reference.

That is pretty valuable information that really should've been shared sooner.

I found that the Blue Elephant is a restaurant/pub in Simcoe, ON, and Saint Cad confirmed that the AT on the doorway photo is for a gun and tackle shop in Simcoe.

I wish I could. I beleive it's conjecture as that's where the LivePsychGallery images are from.
<3 to the good guys for the directions. But now the majority at HTH will be in the dark. That doesn't sit well with me.

Actually, I did mention it earlier.
So before you're going to get all irritated, make sure you check your facts first.

Well, regardless of what anyone does or doesn't do, I really don't think we can stop Doc from doing what he has started.

You mentioned that this thread was the Needle? My bad then, I missed it. Although to be clear, I wasn't irritated. I was just saying.

Thanks Tresbian and Jacks!

And careful guys, we don't want this thread turning into the other one at Hall of Judges...

Hmm, smart.Just got home, didn't get a chance to read through the thread.I'm Conor on the forums btw.Erm, sorry? But about Hurtstoheal... I was thinking we could put out a "amber alert" for the girl.Emails, and posts online, but if we put up signs with pictures in Simcoe, would that be too attractive to the mounties?I don't think they could blow it out of proportion that much. What do you guys think?

If anyone posts any pictures of this girl in a RL city, there needs to be a BIG disclaimer saying it's for a game.

No way can we alert the authorities. It's just not fun times. That's why I don't want anyone emailing pictures to businesses or anything like that. Discrete posters and things like that are one thing, but plastering a place is another. Just don't do it.

See, that's the rub. We're asked to aggressively get people to participate, but in our zeal we'll be pulling in people that don't know anything about this being a "game". These newcomers might not know what the guidelines for this sort of thing, and what lines should not be crossed.

This game can turn bad right quick. That is another reason why I don't approve of these recruitment methods.

Damn. That art style seems rrrreeeaaallll familiar, and I can't put my finger on the artist it reminds me of. It's bugging me.

At any rate, the pictures remind me of advertisements that were in Montmartre in Paris. I remember that much...it's a big artist hangout. Has the Moulin Rouge and whatnot there.

They just look very characteristic of french portraits. I know french but there isn't much text on the pictures, which makes it hard to identify them.

Here's a couple: http://www.bullworks.net/ffg/loie/loie.html

Yay Calawyn! http://www.museumfacsimiles.com/catalog/item/3779599/4377986.htm

I don't think this is really important but it's fun and I'll add to the list later.

Oh my mom actually collects those old posters. I'll look into it. Still catching up though so trout me if you want.
