Why would you want to worry everyone over a fictional character? All of those things would be a big waste of the police dept's time.

 		Again, this was presented by an IG character as a viable option. If he doesn't want us to consider it, he really shouldn't mention it. I don't agree with the option, but if he makes it viable... Well, that's really on him, isn't it?

 		Oh god, now is not the time for wild speculation.Doc dropped the ball when we found out everything with the first set of pics he gave us.He is trying to get us to believe that he does not make mistakes.We need to realize what his mistakes are and exploit them.Redirecting to 42 was a good idea, think of it like modern art.Its really just some half melted metal but some people think its "beautiful" Hes trying to make us think he is a "cunning" PM, when in reality he is scrambeling to try to make us believe so.

 		He gives us the tools, he pushes us to far, and just like what was said on the forums, the nespaper might get an anonymous email detailing a "terrorists mad plot of kidnap and torture."hell, I bet Oprah would even...I'm gonna shut up now.

This is a good point. If someone does decide to bring the cops into this, I would avoid doing it in such a way as to get yourself in trouble.

It is a Game. However, it is meant to transcend even the safeties of ARG culture. Your responses, both in-game and out-of-game are being recorded.
We're not sure how many active members arrived via advertising, but Google, IMDB and Facebook all monitor "unsettling" ads and we have been forthcoming with each agency in WHAT the ads were for.
In fact, our ads in Facebook were revised to state "ARG" in the text itself.

Unexpectedly, we recorded a site error this evening, as well as a forum glitch which temporarily opened a security issue in the administration area. This has been resolved.
Great work so far. It's going to get much harder. Think beyond the obvious!

We apologize for any level of uncertainty that this might be a real kidnapping.
That said, this will be our only official statement that it is, in fact, a game.

What "forum glitch" would cause a redirect to 42 Entertainment?

Sounds like a "cover our ass" e-mail to me.
