Well, perhaps the rest push bit is about moving a heavy object? That or the birth...not all hospitals do the "push 1 2 3 4 5'. At least, not apparently near where I live.

Probably so, yeah. At the same time, I'm keeping everything there in mind in case it comes up again, as it hasn't been 100% confirmed that it's no longer applicable. Figure it's better to be safe than sorry.

Perhaps the candle is the only means of illumination because the doc is using the rest of the wiring for his ignition system. I don't think it's for a spell either but was curious about any symbolic meanings.

Ya, I was thinking maybe pushing a heavy object, but that still seems a bit off. If someone told me to "push push push" while birthing (the counting is bad enough) I would kick them in the face.

Can I bring up the french pics again? I recognise them as Art Nouveau/Art Deco era advertisements, the one on the top left is an ad for absinthe, the rest are various shows or products. I initially thought it was wallpaper but you can see the sheen of the paint between them. The fact that the wall is shiny suggests a bathroom/kitchen type area. Or it could be old, people used to paint their walls shinier then we do now.

The candle is on a chair in an attic by a small bed roll. I'd guess that maybe that's the sole source of light for whoever might be staying up there. Or maybe it's to represent the woman who will be brought there. Candles, as with human life, are very delicate and fragile in certain situations, and can be fairly easily snuffed out. My 2 cents.

Someone else mentioned on the other boards that they could've been taken at an old theater near the Blue Elephant. Judging by the type of posters they are and by the light fixture, I would say that an old theater isn't far off.

I think the push/rest thing might be referring to us, i think the main part of Doc's study is to see how our responses are shaped by the mental and emotional stress he's going to put everyone through... Rest (discovery of HTH), Push (recruiting assignment), Rest (this weekend), Push, Push, Push Push, (the rest of this week)... if this theory is right, we're in for one helluva week...

Ya, that push/rest theory sounds like the best fit to me.

The recruiting was successful in making searches for this game difficult. What I mean by that, is to try and search for Hurtstoheal, only to find out it was another 'ad' for the game placed their by one of us. We've made our own game harder? lol

I am more concerned about the message "three subjects" than push push push. I suppose we will find out who those are tomorrow....won't be surprised if Nighthawk ends up being a subject. Shocked

Hi people,

that looks interesting. I'm in now.
Is there some wiki or summary about the story? I'm not lazy to read 57 pages, but as sooner I know, what's going on, as sooner I can help Smile

regards,
kosmopol
