Once she is dead, she will not be suffering. If we have to see it, we will be the ones suffering. So, you are saying there are 'good' choices? Please, it is only to ease ones own conscience on what they consider a humane way to die. I consider none of those to be humane. She should have the choice to live.

I am in complete agreement. It shouldn't be about how she dies, but how do we help her as most of us have stated at one time or another.

and what does he mean by days off?

Doc keeps quoting everything I've said, and keeps posting one-liners to it.
I have asked how to choose life.....anything else I should ask?

edit: days off....means she can't quite make it to work now, stuck in a house that is wired for detonation.

orange juice? while funny, that is precisely my point, it matters not how one dies.

Right. But what he is asking is how would you prefer to die, if staying alive was not an option under any circumstances. I don't know if you've ever heard of the game Would You Rather, but it's something my friends and I used to play... "would you rather eat only chocolate for the rest of your life or only noodles," stuff like that. You didn't have the option to say you'd rather not eat either. Similarly, in this instance, she doesn't really get to say, "oh no thanks, I'd rather not die." I mean, I'd much rather stay alive, but when it comes down to it, I'd also rather OD on sleeping pills than explode from orange juice.

Then I guess I don't really care how I die at all. Choose whatever you want, even if it's the most painful thing you can think of, after Im dead, it won't matter. It will only matter to the ones alive.

The flaw I see in this scenario, if we are applying it to Bex, is that we don't really know her, therefore it's harder to care one way or the other. In all the creepy movies, the person that dies is introduced to you, their personality and some of the people around them that will be effected by their death....so that when it does happen, one can feel the loss....I guess at this point I am just not feeling it.

On a personal note, I probably should not be here. Today would have been my brother's 45th birthday. He died a year ago with no warning. So, contemplating ways to die, is not an idea that I should be entertaining today, but is probably what is effecting or guiding my decision.

Coffeebean, I am sorry to hear that. I have no idea how you must feel right now.

On another note, does anyone know yet who subject one is? I doubt it is me, but I was first to vote. I don't know if that has anything to do with it, but I should post my choice on HTH anyway, just in case.

Coffeebean, dear God I'm sorry you have to hear this. Back away from this, take time to mourn or forget all this talk. We understand completely, and we sympathize.

The general concensus seems to be that WE are subject one because Doc refers to the subject in the plural sense.

That makes sense to me. Very Happy Thanks.

I went ahead and posted my reason anyway. Couldn't hurt I suppose.

Ok, people, sorry again for my ignorance. I'm surely a trout candidate in this board ('cause I haven't read the whole 60 pages).

But chambermaid added me for a week and I thought, she is somebody from unfictionists Smile

At Last

Man, I spend 3 days without internet and look what happens, this topic went from 13 to 65 pages! That will teach me to get wireless.

Stepping from lurking in the shadows to be a part of the team

This is going to be one freaky ARG, the last video had a really horror movie vibe.

The phrase "It's all fun and games till somebody gets hurt" comes to mind, in this case It's all fun and games WHEN somebody gets hurt.

What kind of horrors await her, and judging by the first survey are we going to be the one's to peak them? I knew we we're evil, I didn't know we were that sadistic, oh well I've got connections in hell, I'll have a nice time there.

Ps: You guys like abbreviations so much here's a nice one for you, TLC , Tender Love and Care, something we wont be seing in this ARG.

Just wanted to note that the question asked was, "How would you prefer to die, if death were inevitable?" We weren't asked to choose how someone else should die. Night, I chose fire because I've read that one loses consciousness pretty quickly from smoke inhalation.

Well, now that we know there is a definite connection, who wants to bring it up on the 48 hours IG forum?

Some great co-incidences there, but are we positive? Has anyone confirmed a picture of the girl from 48 as a match to this ARG? I thought she had dark hair.

Is there a clear description of the video anywhere? I can't access the IG forum from work and the video is blocked.

Marlys, if it's not 48HiP, someone's trying hard to make us think it is. We don't have a picture or any description of Kristin Rebecca Chalmers. She's from Boston, now living in NYC after working for awhile in LA, and now is in Canada to interview the film's subjects. (That is why I went looking for The Blue Elephant in Toronto.)

All three of the female film subjects have dark hair, and one of the main characters, Veronique (aka Ronnie/V), also has dark hair.
