I've unlocked all the videos and so far, nothing special.

Favorite CloverFile? So far my favorite CloverFile is the one about the rats where Lizzy Caplan calls Michael Stahl-David a "rat fucker," but it's only the third video I have watched. Hopefully there are some more candid goodies.

Nothing special? Uh, OK...
So it's not "Here's where we tell you everything you could ever possibly know about the whole story and background, including what position Rob and Beth had sex!", but what did you really expect? It's an online extra to a DVD basically. I really don't think Paramount was planning on some petty thief stealing and pirating an early copy of Cloverfield and every little overgrown impatient child downloading it and tearing it to shreds for clues and of course thus finding out about the site a couple of weeks before it was meant to go live.
Mystery is what's been driving this whole thing from the start. If you don't get that, you just don't 'get it'.
The mini games were fun, and the extras were fun. T.J. Miller can not open his mouth without a joke coming out. I think he may become my favorite comedian. I couldn't be more turned on by Lizzy Caplan if she was flipping a switch mounted on my crotch.
ETA: I think there's a sneaky thing in clip 15 (the last one) at 2:57 (frame 5315).
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Right after Mike Vogel says "The shooting style is to miss more than we catch on camera." you see this picture. The shot continues so we see Margot Farley's face, so that light haired woman isn't her. Looks like maybe Jaime Lascano (Jaime Harlan) did make it off the couch!

Am I the only one that realized on "Casting Beth" they spell Odette Yustman's last name wrong?

@Euchre: Well I see your points, but it would still be rather naive of Paramount if they didn't see this coming. Of course they didn't plan it, but I would've been rather shocked if it didn't happen and I'm sure they would also.
Actually I think they wanted it to be like this since it just created more mysteries and hyped it some more before the dvd release.
Also I didn't really expect much more info other than what we already know, but somehow it would've been nice if they set it up like people said earlier, where they added all the ARE/ARG things to the newbies who didn't follow it from the start. Would've fitted the domain name imo.

Exactly...So they didnt tell us anything...its been like that from day 1. This is not an ARG. Period. Its not, its advertising, therefore they have no reason to give us anything because believe it or not there is nothing there to give.

So who's going to watch you die?...

The funny thing about this, is the pirated version was missing a bunch of extras, leading to all kinds of false accusations.
FWIW, I received my review copy from Paramount almost two weeks weeks before CloverfieldFiles went live, so it wasn't exactly a secret.

I agree this wasn't an ARG, but is disingenuous to say they didn't give us anything . Sure, there was no "game", but there was a lot of "alternate reality". Just remember, no one promised you an ARG. Everyone got tricked by Ethan Hass, then expected an ARG. But what we did get was a great back story, which I believe really added to the movie experience. Personally, I love all the new behind the scenes stuff. Different strokes for different folks, I guess...

What I don't get is why put the picture of Teddy Hanssen on 1-18-08.com?
And why have an extra space in the video section?

I don't see why this would mean the whole thing is over. We'll get more, maybe not soon, but it'll come.

Don't be disappointed yet. It's not the end of the toaster. There's still one more Kishin manga to be released, and we still haven't found Teddy Ruxbin or solved the Mystery of the Swirly-Sword. So keep your hopes up.
