This may be a wierd line of thinking, but since the Matrix often contains biblical references, it would make sense that we have to delve into it to get a few answers.

Ceasar was of course, a Roman, and if you go along the IC = 99 in Roman numerals, perhaps we need to look into Romans.

Romans 9:9 reads as follows: "For this [is] the word of promise, At this time will I come, and Sara shall have a son."

Sounds rather interesting.

Re: My views on 'S TO L'

Check out the casting for 'Antony and Cleopatra 1982' ... There he is, James Avery
James Avery = Caesar in my opinion.

Let me know what you think.

But the role he played was "Mardian" (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0085176/)

And he's definitely not the missing guy

I like the idea of S TO L as in from "S" to "L" and wondered if it could be applied differently to the Alice Line.

ie.

"ALWAYS TO HAVE LESSONS TO LEARN"

etc.

or somewhere else like SKELETON

...

I didnt actually think the actor was James Avery Smile

It was just really wierd too see him there, put yourself in James' shoes... one day he decides to check the internet for anyone with his name that is famous .. ( we've all done it heheh ) and he discovers this fella... "Oooh - he did a shakespeare film, I liked Julius Caesar" - Hey presto, he has an online alias... you see what I mean?

Now of course it is probably just a very strange coincidence - and I have absolutely no confidence in this source being viable information for the game, so stop trying to prove me wrong - and work something else out to go on.... thanks Wink

smile.

Filenames

The filenames bother me.

The comments page is "mt-comments" which could be read as "Empty Comments" or "Empty Dash Comments".

If that's so then what about that missing page "cat_" could be "See at Underscore".

Or do we assume that (in game) the site is real and it's the picture that hides the clue?

Has anyone established or ruled out Stegging? The file it three times the size it needs to be.

unless they are using a different type of the standard steg'n tools, I would say there is no steg'n going on so far, others have said the same. Most tools that detect such things are giving negative results....*shrug*

Filenames again

Dunno if this has been suggested before, but could the number 10 have something to do with it?
Tavern.Pointe = Paint Over, with the letters t e n left over

The broken link to the cat page has an anchor of 000010:
Code:
http://www.paintover.net/_cpy/archives/cat_.html#000010

The entry ID for the blog board has an ID value of 10:
Code:

The files have "mt" on them because they are part of a program called moveable type. It is standard that way.

Well, if you remove the "archives" you get cpycat -- copycat.

This is true, but it could also be noted that the best way to hide something is in plain site. or put another way.

"Assumptions allow the best in life to pass you by." Wink

and what is the signifiacance (if any) of the time of the post:

2.51 AM - 02:51 (171 Minutes ($AB), 10260 Seconds ($2814))?

I know a similar trick was used in Reloaded, could it be the same here?

tavern.pointe = paintover.net

and maybe the "S TO L" is just an excerpt from ""ALWAYS TO HAVE LESSONS TO LEARN", not a standalone.

I think the person who translated the Wingdings in the first place (have long since lost track of who that was, or where) said that the phrase read from bottom to top, so that the box highlighted "Always to have more lessons to learn."

My question is whether or not the 'e' in learn is also highlighted - seems to be about half in the highlight box.

(Oh, and thanks for correcting my location, Worznar. I always mis-remember that!)

hi, there, have you noticed that the company Tavern.Pointe is the same as paintover.net , look change the "e"and "o" on pointe ti have the word:
tavern.P_int letters remaining (e,o), now change the "t","a","n" on tavern to have this: _ver.P_int letter remaining (e,o,t,a,n), now take the dot out, now we have _verP_int(eotan.) then fill the spaces with the rmaingin letters to form the word PaintOver.Net !!!!!!!!!

Cool HUH!!

Damn, dude. Scroll up about 3 posts and someone says the exact same thing.

Has anyone noticed that this might be connected to the MATRIX! That would be COOL!!!
