Woolworth Building
Still Standing?

In the beginning of the movie we see the Woolworth building collapse but after the team rescues Beth from her apartment they run out in the street and, there it is, an intact Woolworth building! Or is my NY building ID wrong?

Lot's of buildings look the same in New York, tons of them with tops like those, could be another building. Doubt it was the Woolworth Building though.

although the woolworth building used to be considered the tallest building in NY, it's not anymore. I don't think you'd be able to see it from columbus circle (beth's apartment). it's too far downtown and it was nighttime.

maybe on a clear day....

clovie took a tour of Times Square (home of dick clark's new year's rockin eve).

it's the Warner building and the Chrysler building, in the sequence that you're talking about.

Reeves even says what the buildings are on the DVD.
