Maybe there is something with the numbers and letters on http://the-electric-church.com/bellevue/ssf.html ??

We have the page title:
998-456T77U-00-9-A-FF786

And these at the top of the page:
!SEC CODE 88U-0090-AP-I8T5
!ROUTING 21cafd7|1611a9ffef|4f8ec9533

Not sure what to make of them, if anything, but I thought I would throw it out there...

The first letter of each word spells out "I am lying".

And this from the 4th point:

Quote:
> Here are the facts: We have been dealing with a very contagious infectious disease with an extremely high mortality rate. Much of this high mortality can be attributed to ignorance. Once the Department of Public Health interpreted the data and began a city-wide response, mortality has been reduced. This is a terrible disease but it is being dealt with. Bold is mine...

Soooo... kinda quiet.

Is there anybody here who played along with the game for the first book, The Electric Church? Was it like this, with long periods of nothing?

I played the first game (The Electric Church) and I don't remember a lot of down time. The only long wait was for the very last clue. It was placed in an ad on a few commercial websites and we had to wait for the start date of the ad to appear to get the clue. But I don't think that wait was any more than two weeks, maybe less.

Our problem is were missing something right in front of our eyes. I think we need to go over all of the clues again. As well as looking at all the information provided to us. And then lastly go over the last clue or two again, we need to really pool our brains. This isnt supposed to be easy. And thats why we do it isn't it? Would we do this if it were handed to us?

Well, if you have any ideas, we're open to suggestions. I finished the book last night and am curious to see how this will all tie in, if something ever develops.
