so...who wants to call? Do you guys think we should try and RSVP for the meeting? lol.

Well, according to the "invitation", all the info will be published later. I'm thinking of trying to RSVP though (the timing just happens to be very workable), so I'll give them a call tomorrow.

Edit: I've just emailed them, will let you guys know if/when I get a response.

Ok, I sent an email to, hopefully we will recieve the agenda promised to us. If not, im sure we will get it after the meeting. For reference, this is what the email said:

Quote:
To whom it may concern,

I would like to RSVP for your upcoming Annual Trustee Meeting. I have as of lately heard of your company through my clients and would like to see the direction in which your company is going before making any spontaneous descisions for my upcoming project. I will try my best to make the meeting, though I can not guarantee that I will be there. Regardless, I will make sure that I and my fellow CEOs read all information given to us either at or after the meeting.

Sincerly,
~Darren Dameon Knight III~
~Chairman~
~uF Miner's Association~

Does anybody know if the phone number is out-of-country? Im debating on calling if my phone bill will go through the roof.

I can confirm that the phone number is genuine, and did not seem to be re-directed when I tried it. The answer-phone message is fairly standard, "Thankyou for calling....blahblahblah etc" made by a very English sounding young gentleman. I think it is worth people trying to get to the meeting, after all, if the PM has gone to the effort of setting it up.... Very Happy
I can't make it, will be at a wedding. Sad
Looks like we will have to wait for updates on the blog until then....

New post to the blog:

It has been a good week 43. My luck is holding and people are helping me along. As one door closes another opens. It is always an emotional mineral, probe and it will out.

And on twitter:

Surer Risk is holding a meeting next week in London. I have sent Dan's pictures and my research to key company people attending.

Personally I'm intrigued by the phrase "an emotional mineral" - very bizarre!

Edit: Just noticed a very snitty post by DC on violettesdream forum, and an email addy for him on his profile.

Dan's e-mail

Well, it was an open invitation, couldn't help myself. I had to send something to him. This is what I sent:

Quote:
Um, just a thought, but if you crave privacy maybe you shouldn't include your e-mail addy in your profile?
And if you had been spying correctly, you would have noticed that the photos, and therefore the accusations originated from somewhere else.

VeeBee

Just heard back from Surer Risk: I'm being "allowed" to attend the Trustee's meeting (how nice of them!) but will not be allowed to record anything.

But you wouldn't attempt to take any sort of covert recording device, would you?

Of course not! Not on purpose, anyway... if my laptop (allowed) happened to record everything, that would be different Smile

I agree. This whole entry bothers me. It's almost as if she's talking to someone specific, not the public in general. Could 43 be a person? (yeah, I know, generally there would be a comma before the number if it were a name.)
We are definitely being told to probe deeper into Surer Risk.

EDIT: If it it a cryptic clue, and you remove any letters that occur in probe or it from "emotional mineral" you get left with MNAL MNAL. In that order.

EDIT2: Manganese & Aluminium?

Damn! The one day I am not covering everything and everything updates. lol. Okay, so I told you i put in for an RSVP previously for the Surer Risk meeting some couple of posts ago (pg8). I got a response today from Surer Risk:

Quote:
Dear Darren,

I have reviewed your application to attend the Annual Trustees Meeting of the Surer Risk Group, and I am pleased to tell you that you have been allocated an observer's seat.

The meeting will commence at 1pm on Saturday 17th May 2008, in the Rocket Room of The Hospital Club, 24 Endell St, London WC2H 9HQ, and is expected to last not more than two hours. Please arrive not less than ten minutes before the allotted start time, and report to the receptionist on the ground floor.

Laptops are permitted and there is wireless internet access, but you will not be allowed to use any audio or video recording equipment during the meeting. If it becomes necessary to discuss commercially sensitive information, we reserve the right to conduct aspects of the event in private.

You will receive a briefing document from us on Tuesday. It will give you the agenda for the meeting and some additional relevant information.

If you have any further questions then please contact my secretary Davinia Peirce, by sending her an email to daviniapSPLATsurerrisk.com, or by phone on +44 (0) 207 193 7442.

Thank you for your interest in Surer Risk.

We look forward to seeing you.

Humphrey Ristowe
Company Secretary

Don't worry, I'm going to be there... Despite their warnings, I may try and record what I can, if it's possible. And I can't imagine that they'll keep whatever goes on secret, they're bound to publish it all afterwards, anyway.

Edit: Dan Corrigan has updated his blog, and removed his email addy from the violettesdream forum...
