Errm, the removal of the e-mail addy would be my fault, Embarassed , however it's no matter, because I still have it if no-one else saw it....?

I wouldn't worry about it, I think a few people emailed him before he got rid of it.

Guys, I think I have another lead. For those who have been watching the VD forum, a new poster "VJ" has just started posting. It seems like the Fan has either asked his help or been trying to contact him.

When you check up on his profile, you will find that he is part of Replay Studios, the group creating Velvet Assassin. His website links to a new blogspot, one for Replay Studios, with this link. I havent read through it all yet but I will update and edit if i see anything of relelvance:

http://www.replaystudios.blogspot.com/

EDIT: Everyone, this is most certainly an IG site. Led by a Webmaster of Replay Studios (Victor Jones), the site denies that Viollete Szabo is the star of Replay Studios 'Velvet Assassin' and it was based off of the real-life Violette Summers. Summers led a very similar life Szabo with one major exception; there is no evidence of a death. Unlike Szabo, Summers apparently disappeared on her final mission after sending some codes [looks like we will have to start cyphering soon guys]. He tells a brief history of Violette who until now has been kept pretty much in the dark. This is until Monday when a message was sent to him from 'The Fan' (head blogger of VD blog) which must have said something about Summers which explains the new post on the forum. That is all Ive gotten out of it.

Hello people, I've been watching this game for a few days now and it seems pretty good so far. This is my very first ARG! Hopefully my next post will contain information people will actually want to know about. That's assuming of course that the rest of you geniuses don't solve everything before I even know there's a puzzle to solve.

Welcome to the party, Zorgano!

Good morning all. Just would like to inform people about the update that has happened. Dan Corrigan added a new blod (this time not dealing directly with us nutters) about the Surer Risk trustee meeting. Looks as though he will be attending:

I know I'm still new at this, but is meeting a character from a game normal? It seems a bit... odd.

It isn't really unheard of, VR, because they will be IG of course. However, this means that if you are going to the meeting you should be IG too. No talking about this like a game, no talking meta, no mentioning uF, and pretend that everything happening to them is actually happening. To these characters it is not a game. If you are going to the meeting you are going as a possible investor and Chairman of uF Miner's Association investigating new insurance companies for a new project (unless you want to choose a diffrent reason but this would cover both my email story and your appearance), not as a player of the ARG Violettes Dream. =)[/quote]

I think I'd better use my backstory (reporter - cheesy, but loads of scope for asking questions!), as they've had my email already.

But that does make me feel a bit better - I was worried I'd show up in character and feel silly. Thanks!

Welcome Liquidy,

anyways, a new post on the forum by out buddy Victor:
Quote:
I'm part of a team at Replay Studios that's developing a game about Violette Summer. The Fan, who I guess is the moderator here (?) contacted me and sent me that letter in German, which mentions that someone's father saw Violette die. I assume that most of you know what a big deal that is, or why would you be reading a forum about Violette if you didn't know her story? I've been interested in Violette for years. So I want to know where she got it, I post here as she suggested, and nothing.

Let me ask you this, 'Fan', if you're reading, do you believe the letter? Do you think that Violette died in Normandy in 1943? Or do you believe the stories that she survived the war and was active as a MI6 agent in the 1950s? I want to know what you know.

VJ

Btw. whats up with all the WWII games as of lately, this is like my third one. haha

Update: http://www.violettesdream.com/?p=31

Hope it's not due to my earlier stupidity that they've felt the need to explain things so bluntly Embarassed

Here's the new Twitter:
Quote:
It's eerie listening to me, hope it explains the quiet. Asked the crowd for help; if they don't have answers maybe they've friends who do.

And the blog from Replay Studios:
Quote:
Sorry for the delay in updating the blog. I'm trying to getting permission to post images of some of the Violette Summers items we have in the office. But we need to contact the owner first and it's taking a little while. More news soon.
