only 57? nice!!

a 1 in 57 chance at $100,000.

I'm liking those odds.

Wow, I like this part in the contest rules:

"The Final Competition will consist of a series of events and stunts that will test the puzzle solving ability and physical and mental stamina of the Finalists. Finalist Competition events may include rigorous physical activities such as running, jumping, swimming and/or climbing."

Intriguing! Cool

Does anyone else have trouble with stopping part way through? I did a few puzzles last night before going to bed, and now when I go back to the site it takes me all the way back to the beginning and asks me to Register, even though I already have. I don't see a place to log-in...

wow, thanks Mystlyfe... it is barely visible in my screen for some reason - 75% cut off. Actually, I still can't read - is it asking for an email, or the user name, or something else?

what number are you ranked at for finishing the puzzle? it gives us a good idea of how big the competition is getting...

Finish the ticking thing: 186th
Finish the spinning rocks: 105th
Finish the pascal lock: 84th

Is it just me or was the last lock the easiest of them all?

The lock took me the longest to figure out how to do it (didn't cheat and look here), as the name Pascal sent me scrapping for some relation to the Pascal triangle. Only when I stepped backed and started again did I try the solution.
The two discs took the longest, but that was just a matter of getting it right. I didn't really have trouble with the other ones other than the metronome not accepting my answer at first (even though it was correct, and eventually did).

I had the same problem using FF. IE shows the rest of the screen. I'd hate to miss some tiny detail just because I'm using a different browser.
