Each of those middle triangles are pointing at a symbol on the ring. Any theories as to what the symbols are?

My first thought was 'hmmm. Compass rose.' But that has 32 points, this has 36, so... Each symbol 10 deg. apart, for what it's worth.

Empty boxes
Triangle Mystery

On the very bottom there's an @ symbol. what else do you use an @ symbol for? Email.

your email [@] whatever.com (o) press the button

enter your email and it says

"You will be notified."

btw:
"Everything matters"
everything IS matter.
"The end is only the begginning"
The end of the countdown is the beginning of the new world.
"20 years, 14,000 People"
The pyramids.

Look at the surroundings. It looks mayan. the background there's the temple

So, It could be the mayan clock when the world changes.

i'm pretty sure it's a clock. It's a countdown because no matter what time zone you are in that's when the clock is over. But the numbers don't match up with anything so i matched the clock with my time to see the changes.

date/time today:

04 month 29 day 2008 year

at
7:00:00pm
i read the clock and i figured out

middle is seconds
bottom left is minutes
bottom right is hours
top is days
the dots i believe are months.

i could be wrong about some of this but i'm pretty sure about all of this.
email me what you think or just reply but i'm not sure i'll get an email if anyone replies to this thread so i'm posting my email anyway.

I had to edit my last post, I figured he(she?) was only trying to help so no use exploding over something so trivial. It wasn't very nice though.

Re: Triangle Mystery

A Rational Alexandrian hero
Found an even better answer. Heronian Triangle, a triangle whose sidelengths and area are all rational numbers.
Wikipedia

The Golden Door yields to numbers.
National Heritage Triangle featuring Ellis Island, Staten Island, and Governor's Island, formerly known as Immigrant Route One.
I lift my lamp beside the golden door!

Everything Matters
Most likely referencing the Unitary Triangle, which abstractly explains quantum particle relations in a manner which I don't completely understand, although there's a layman's explanation near the bottom of this page:
Some stuff I just don't understand

Fortitude equals Finality.
This one was tough, but I know I got it now. The line refers to a quote from a 1977 Tamil Liberation Front manifesto. The area inhabited by the Tamils, Tamil Nadu, contains a large number of pyramid temples this could easily refer to, such as Rajarajeeswaran, Brihadishwara, Srivilliputhur, or the most recently relevant Shore Temple and the Seven Pagodas of Mahabalipuram. (Six are currently underwater.)
Wikipedia again

Ultimate simplicity and purely theological
This is purely speculation as a closest-fit, but I believe it refers to the Divine Triangle formed by the Holy Trinity - the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. It is a belief of orthodox Christianity that God exists as a single entity with the Holy Trinity representative of vertices of His being. I respecfully request the opinion of more religious individuals to comment/clarify of my analysis.

It took 20 years and 14,000 workers to build.
Although Terminal 5 took 20 years from planing to completion, it only took 6 years to construct. However, the Great Pyramid of Giza did take 20 years, and the popular theory states 14000 workers were used to construct it. A conflicting theory put the count at 100,000-200,000 workers.

Oh, and keep your eye on this page, as it's where this thing will be sending you when the timer reaches zero:
Ckeckmate.

Actually, it's this one. (Possible spoiler!)

Also, if you're going to quote someone, especially a long-arsed post, try to pick out the relevant points, otherwise, you get 2 bigarse irrelevant posts as seen above.

It's named after Heron? If so, I'll buy it.

Maybe. Seems a stretch, but that doesn't really matter...

THEY are reaching.

I don't think this is it. Something keeps nagging at me but I haven't been able to catch it yet and this doesn't ring the bell... But maybe.

I WANT it to be the Great Pyramid, and it's possible our research is too good, so... Point me at at a "popular theory" that says this and I'll buy it.

Sorry, but Nighthawk had that. Here.
Also all the date stuff.

Well the truth of the matter is that it's not Heathrow T5, since there's no triangle related to it, and it actually did not take 14000 workers to build.
6000 workers at peak, 60,000 total in construction

But the primary reason why the great pyramid is the more plausible answer is that you have the specific numbers directly referenced from sites like these:
http://www.comedy-zone.net/triviazone/world/page4.htm
http://www.languagesinaction.com/arabic_courses/egypt/
http://frikoo.com/extreme-engineering-15-of-mans-most-impressive-construction-projects
I wish they cited their sources.
