New ARG?
Hi - I'm new to this so please go easy if I'm not doing this correctly or following the correct guidelines.

I recently signed up to a few ARG site e.g. Perplex City after I immensely enjoyed stumbling upon the www.wetellstories.co.uk ARG and my subsequent chase for Alice through St Pancras etc...

Anyway, I received an email recently that initially I just thought was spam, but when looking into it found that it was a collection of quotes from a G. K. Chesterton novel called "The Man Who Was Thursday". Below is the full text of the email. What put me off initially was the "IT's help you to make you bed games longer" at the beginning which is a link to some sort of viagra type product.

So I've been trying to work out what (if anything) it means and have emailed both c7i6ty2rhSPLATaim.com (mail delivery failure) and berndfoeSPLATyahoo.com (no reply) with the text "The Man Who Was Thursday. GILBERT KEITH CHESTERTON (1874-1936)"

I've also done quite a bit of searching via Google and this forum but couldn't find anything. So now I'm running out of ideas - can anyone help!

My initial gut reaction is also that the email is just spam as there are somewhat similar messages in the email Analysis thread.

Upon receiving an email with so many apparently blank lines, I would hit ctrl+a to see if there is any additional text, but it looks like you have already tried that.

That should have set the alarm bells ringing instantly IMO lol. No self respecting PM (IMHO at least) Would advertise Viagra or the like in an ARG trailhead or an ARG in general.

Any pointers for some other light-weight-ish ARG's for a newbie to try?

Light-weight-ish? Not quite sure. But "The God Machine" has just started, you could check that out... I'm not really "playing" anything else atm but someone else might have some ideas.

 		.... Damn there goes the Viagra based homebrew I had been working on..... I guess I'll just have to go with "Plan B" then Preperation H ARG here I come.
