At least for the text on the new blog, Google gives some translation:

google translatioN wrote:

long time now, with this mission came six world it is not successful, this time we sent them, but why, in one of six people KAUNTAAGONOTETAI , and that we would have checked that? Sugi Noshi is a leap? .

The only think that I could make out: one of the six is a counter-agonetethai! Could also be a translation or interpretation fault. Could be the past or the present (or even in a parallel world)

Fits well to ELi's mail, where he wrote something, that he wants to know "how they might have been able to persuade agonothetai to join forces with them on their counter-mission... "

Uh. wow. I've been wondering that for a while now. Are there anti-agonothetai? I think Theo may be their pen name. That would definitely lend credence to "The Opposition" theory.

I'm out of town, and will have a narrow band access until midnight. Anyway, my translation:

Is six the number?
For a long time, no teams of six who came to this world with missions have been successful so far. This seems to be why we have been sent to this world. But, what if the reason we haven't been successful is that one of the six becomes a counter-agonothetai and tries to stop the other five? Is this a logical leap ?

Noriko thinks that six people are definitely needed and that perhaps past missions failed becuase one of the six choosed to leave the group, like Renata has perhaps done in the past.

That can be happening right now. So who is a candidat for joining TheO (The Opposition - I like the idea that TheO is not necessarily a person but could also be the whole counter organisation.)

So if one is leaving, we would need a substitute.

Pure speculation:
Because suddendly Monica has her own blog she could be the substitute for
- Diego (the blog is already a backup of Diego's blog and the spain community can continue)
- Noriko (else we would have two Sophrosune)

That's a great idea AUZ505. I would be more than willing to step in for Diego as a mythopoeia. Perhaps we should all be willing should the need arise. We're obviously all supposed to be working together anyway, but to step up to the challenge should someone prove unfaithful would be a real honor. Perhaps that's what the training runs are for! I've been wondering, is there any mention in the codex about what exactly we are training to do? Is there going to be a day that everyone joins in running at a set time all around the world? That's the sense I get from the trailers. Any thoughts?

No, no! The Japenese title clearly means she DOUBTS the number "six"!

I'm now in an airport and I'll be out of access fairly soon for a few hours.

If I was going to doubt one of the six, it would be Mei Hui because she is alone saying maybe Theo isn't bad. On her blog, I made a comment about her latest video and I don't know if this is her reply or if it was a comment written by someone else:

My main point is that Theo is just another group of people who are trying to help us by keeping us on our toes. I don't ACTUALLY think they want to harm us. I was just saying "if" they wanted to harm us, they would have done it already since they know exactly where we were and all..

But I like your way of thinking... If it is true, then why do you think they don't just come out and tell us that? And do you think the blindfold and the postcards they sent to Noriko said anything about us causing harm?

I think the other 5 will go to China eventually. Maybe to try to bring her back from Theo's group.

Following up on unagi's translation, here is a summary of Noriko's blog entry from April 20th--and quite an interesting take on who could be the CA:

[Starts by saying that it's been over a week since she's arrived in San Francisco and has thought about who Theo is, who is helping him, who could be an Counter-Agonothetai.]

- "Is someone among the 6 pretending to be a C.A.? Every four years, a team of six has been sent and each time, the team has failed. Is it possible that, each time, one of the 6 is a C.A.?

- The Olympic ring has 5 rings; it is possible that it is a sign that it is supposed to be a team of five that should working together?

- It's unknown why the C.A.s try to stop our mission. One hypothesis (brought up) is that perhaps they do not care about the (other) parallel universes and do not want to have any part with them--that they only care about this universe. Therefore they block the efforts of the team who do try to synchronize with the other worlds.

- Do you remember when Markus first told us Hide and not go where people can see us? But had we done that, we would not have been able to find and get help from people like you and we would have remained isolated.

- When Theo stole the artifact from Ariadne's place, Markus was in Cardiff for some reason.

- He also appeared to suddenly regain his fluency in English and is now going all over the world without saying exactly what he's doing

- I don't want to make any simple conclusions but... what do you all think??"

Do we know why Markus changed his hairstyle?

Markus in email on March 14th. "Don't you think that my hair does look totally stupid now? Although I think that was the right decision - I cannot even recognize myself when I am looking into a mirror, so I hope those people behind these things do not recognize me neither"

If the 6 'amensiasts' wanted to remember who they were and find people who they used to know, to bring their memories back, why would he want to change himself so that he couldnt even recognise himself?

I also think Marcus is acting suspicious.

Re: "Is 6 the Right Number?"

I'm home now, and I've just watched the video.
Thank you so much, Rivanor! I think your summary is almost perfect.

I think she said "Is there a possibiliy that a counter-agonothetai is pretending to be our comrade and lying in our team?"

I'm bringing this up now because it might be connected, but I once spotted Markus twittering all English in one post saying something like,

@help_meihui Why are you feeling crimp? ...(when Meihui was sick),

but he deleted it quickly. The post might be intentional ( emphasizing that he's getting very fluent in English and is trying to hide it he is fluent in English to begin with) or just a meta-slip up.

eta:

I found the tweet trace, it's a couple of tweets below. I find it strange that he deleted it..
