 		For those without the ability to play mscapes...

Ok well the basic premise of the tree mscape is that you have to run around nodes circling the tree to try and capture Grimlet. Each time you capture her she runs to a different node and sets traps on other nodes so you have to remember where she was last. It also has a pretty poetic intro about the tree and ends with a pic of a key and the word rebirth. It then directs you to play water which as yet has not been released.

 		So let me get this straight... you basically run around outside, being chased by something you can't see, around something you can't see to locations you can't see, avoiding traps that you can't see?

 		Please include shard numbers when you go search
I know that nitefoll was heading out for shard number 9 tonight, but Russel_K and Miranda, I know that there are a couple around Bristol-can you let me know which specific numbers you are going for so that I can update the IG forum?

And anyone else who plans to go out for these, please include the shard number with your info, if you would. That way, we can include this info for everyone.

 		Player locations to help with Shard searches
Okay, here is a list with the towns in which players are located, according to the memberslist on the IG forums. I'm not including names here, since anyone can read this, but if you can't access the IG forums and want to contact one of the people in a particular area, let me know and I can write a note to them for you so that we can ask them if they would be able to go for a particular shard.

There are actually a number of players near Bristol...

I apologize for some of the weird characters--it's probably because I'm on a Mac. If anyone can decipher which cities/countries those are, let me know and I'll edit the list.

 		So we got one person in San Diego. Nobody in LA, Italy, Netherelands... but I can see why they chose Bristol for most of the drops.

Theoretically we may not need all of the shards; if it's a word or phrase or URL or something, it can probably be deduced with *most* of the shards acquired.

Gee this sucks! I can't look at ANY site with "mscape" in it! It crashes my browser!! (Stupid Macs with stupid old software! Only the best here!) I'll have to look at them from home.

 		I've made a Google Map of all the locations. Number 13 has two different locations listed (the decimal is not the same as the ddmmss), so I've included them both (though it looks like there's just a mixup with 15).

 		Shards 1 and 8
I've sent a private message to the San Diego player, and while he would be willing to make the trip, he doesn't have a GPS. I'm wondering if there's some way to get him one. Or does anyone know someone with a GPS who lives there?

I've contacted an old high school chum who lives in Sunnyvale. Turns out that his wife is from Palo Alto, which is close to shard number 8. He thinks she could probably hit up some friends of hers to go retrieve that shard and presumably send it to me, if we are supposed to actually remove them from the boxes--that's the usual way with a geocache, but I don't know if the rules are different here.

So--anyone got an old GPS lying about? Smile
