heres chat with Waddy

Quote:
me: well if you get this I looked for about an hour, and i saw 3 areas that had bbqs (to make hotdogs) and had cover, but i saw no tire swings. i also saw the pond ( i assume you mean the only body of water) and i think it had a fountain in it. please respond in due fashion as i have school tomorrow and must sleep soon.
9 minutes
11:09 PM Butler: Hello Sir.
The swing is not made of a tire, but only black rubber.
me: still no sign of any swings
11:10 PM Butler: The driver took me past the pond on my left hand side.
Then to a parking area also on the left, up a bit of a hill.
me: mmhmm
Butler: There was one covered picnic area there, and I could see the fountain.
me: the fountain in the pond that was in the center of the park?
11:11 PM i believe i remember where youre talking about
Butler: And to the right of the covered picnic area, if facing the fountain, was a lone swing set with three areas of bushes near it, as well as a square wooden sandbox.
me: was it before or after the what looked like giant bleachers or a stadium
Butler: It is not a playground, just a swing set with 2 or 3 swings on it.
11:12 PM I saw no stadium or bleachers.
me: and this was in the park named after your memorial?
11:14 PM Butler: Yes.
me: I saw no swings, but i did see an area with slides. had i gone too far?
11:15 PM Butler: I saw no slides either. The road the driver turned down began with an A. We turned left on this road from the center of town.
me: and from the A road, Ault i believe it was. you went up a hill?
11:16 PM Butler: After going down Ault, as you call it, we passed the pond on the left. We turned a slight bend and there was a dirt driveway going up a slight hill on the left.
It was right there you can park your car and make hot dogs, the swings are the on your right.
11:18 PM Also, there seemed to be a path for walking on that lead from the covered picnic house to go around the pond. If you pick up that path it will take you to the swings eventually no?
11:19 PM me: i do not know.
Is there anyway i could contact you while im out and about in the park tomorrow. AIM or something as such?
11:20 PM Butler: At what time your time would you be out and about?
me: about 3-4 PM EST
Butler: Is chatting through here an option or must it be AIM?
11:21 PM me: I do not have the luxury of Google chat on my phone, but one of my options is AIM or Yahoo, or even MSN
Butler: AIM will be fine. I will see to setting up an account tomorrow morning. I shall email you my name. Will that do?
me: yes, please
until then, Wadsworth, until then..

i'd paraphrase if it were longer, so basically im getting an AIM so i can talk with him when im actually there. THANK GOD! aq?

p.s. anyone else notice im at the top of the last 3 pages?

Tabster... Don't know that this will help, but... I think the area Wadsworth is talking about is at A. The only parking area that I can see that fits the description. BUT... He should have seen the stadium. Therefore, it might be buried under trees at B. The fountain is C, of course. Note that Ault turns into Park once you are in the errrmmmm park. Good Luck!

@Omega. My thoughts exactly I was at C but i think its in B. Im just gonna walk around the sidewalk-thing like he says i could do.

EDIT: besides everything was under trees. what i need to find is 3 bushes, and in one is a fallen tree (i think)

I'm very jealous of those invited to dinner with Mr. Boddy. Clue is one of My favorite movies.

I'll be watching this one from the sidelines. Hopefully he makes good on his promise of future events!

Coincidence of coincidences: I just watched this movie yesterday, for the hell of it.

ooEEEoooo!

Wouldn't it be wonderful if Mr. Boddy's name was revealed to be Noah?

Also, I hope that this ARG has multiple endings.

That's what could have happened, but here's what really happened!

Me too! I love Clue. I wish I saw this thread sooner. I have no idea how this is going to be played out, but it's one of the most interesting games I've seen in a long time.

One of my favorite parts is when they're trying to hide the dead bodies from the cop, and he says, "There's nothing illegal about any of this. This is America, it's a free country!."

I didn't know it was THAT free! Laughing

And I think they are doing a very good job of playing the Wadsworth role. Cool idea.

CLOOS!

alright

1. found in Solution card container was a note:
Quote:
You have all been invited. To gain entrance a phrase is needed. Part lies within this box, as well as information for the future, part lies outside this box. Where you have found this box is a clue. Good Luck.
Sincerely,
Mr. Boddy

well i found this box in wadsworth, so im gonna guess thats part of the clue.

2. Conservatory card was highlighted with same marker that note was written in. as well as other cards having specific letters highlighted which i will now post:
mrs. peaCock
lIbrary
candlEstick
mrs. whiTe
Knife
profEssor plum
Study
biLliard room
miss Scarlet
Rope
Lead pipe
or CIETKESLSRL (no order)

might be clues on the Detective notes but i doubt it, they jist seem to be used. I will take pictures as soon as i get my camera.
