From a logic standpoint... why would this website have Alyse's login and password?

hey I just posted something on another forum... let me get it....

they were talking about how someone had hacked into the site. and i was stating they didnt hack it and why.

here it is

First off the site wasnt hacked. Someone had just entered access.htm where the unauthorized.htm was in the address bar. Youll notice that the UN and PW imput boxes are both the same. meaning that the PW one is not encripted and isnt a PW text box. And when making the site (i dunno about anything else, I use dreamweaver) they give you choices on which script for which box you want to include. They are both text input boxes, meaning nothing on the other side is recieving the data, the button will always direct you to the unautorized.htm and someone needed to simply think of access.htm to open the page.

Reason I think this and that there is no main splash page...

Because they have created this blahblahblahPX.com site the way they did, is so that it looks exactly like the files on the DVD in chapt.17.
Thats why its just a plain white page with UN and PW and you have to "hack" in.

Remember Alyse finding the site is only to relay the information about the site to us more or less. we dont really need to know if alyse got in or not. It was to point the pics to us.

I also gave thought on why they would do this is so that paramount dosent have anyone actually trying to hack their site. Im sure even tho they love putting us thru these viral rides, they dont want anyone actually trying to hack websites and the viral is only for fun, not to get anyone in trouble.

- So to anyone trying to get that cloverfield DVD from cloverfieldclues trying to find the PW, sorry but I highly doubt there is one.

Could these sub looking attachments actually be some type of filtration system that sucks in the DSI and separates it from the seawater. There are some type of extensions that could possibly be the intake valves that appear to be surrounded by lights. Maybe these lights attract the DSI to the intake valves. Just a thought.

They could just be hooked up for power, rather than having everything be battery operated they just have everyone tether with a power cord to the main station. Or something, doubted seeing as Tagruato likes over the top tech.

anyone have any luck trying different usernames with the other possible password?

all the obvious ones don't work. aiwatanabe, jamielascano, teddyhanssen, johngarrettie... all are no good.

i can't think of anything else, mainly becos it's 12:38 and i'm already nearly drunk, and i think i broke my wrist last night playing fight club.

this is no coincidence that there's that code on the yellow sticker. it's gotta do something. we just have to figure it out.
