All the computers in my school lab is equipped with GEarth, but it's the weekends now so I won't be able to access it before the deadline's up.

Good luck searching! One more to go!

Is anyone else working on the famous cemeteries list? If so I'd like to check the CA/BOS/NYC cemeteries.

Is it just me, or is there also a link between locations? The Great Wall of China and the Pyramid (or the Sphinx, whichever we think it actually is) are both monuments constructed by man, whereas Machu Picchu and the Bay of Fundy are both naturally occurring spots. I haven't been able to spot links for the four inner locations, though, so maybe this is just me reading too much into it.

EDIT: Guys, on the inner circle in the cemetery, are those monuments or something? It's so hard to tell, but they don't look like trees...

EDIT2: Has anybody tried Lafayette Cemetery in New Orleans? A friend of mine says she thinks it's that.

EDIT3: Scratch that, a friend just checked Google Earth for me and it ain't it.

Yeah on the circle I think those are bigger headstones, probably for more famous people, or maybe just rich people.

I can't stay - just stopped in to see if anyone solved the grave mystery.

Can someone check on Lincoln's tomb for me (in Springfield, IL)? I have been there and his tomb is in the center of a circular drive, and would have lots of cars driving by like that.

Thanks.

Forgive me if this has been done, but I didn't see a mention. Has anyone checked the cemetery of the town where BEX is? (Not really following this, so I don't remember it).

I don't see one in Simcoe, but there are some in nearby Brantford, so I will check those. Doesn't seem to be any of those.

It's right in the middle of page 17. I've checked many of them but would appreciate a second pair of eyes.

Here is the list per Esteed. I have started at the bottom working up.

Famous US cemeteries wrote:
Arlington National Cemetery - military cemetery established during the American Civil War on the grounds of Robert E. Lee's home, near Washington, D.C..

Calvary Cemetery, East Los Angeles, California

Forest Lawn, Hollywood Hills Cemetery, Los Angeles, California - resting place for Liberace, Lucille Ball, and Buster Keaton

Forest Lawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Glendale, California - satirized in Evelyn Waugh's novel, The Loved One.

Gettysburg National Cemetery, in Pennsylvania, at the dedication of which in November, 1863 President Abraham Lincoln delivered his famous Gettysburg Address.

Green-Wood Cemetery, Brooklyn, New York - Samuel Morse, William March "Boss" Tweed, F.A.O. Schwarz and Jean-Michel Basquiat are among the burials here

Hillside Memorial Park Cemetery, Culver City, California - Al Jolson, Jack Benny and Milton Berle are buried here

Hollywood Forever Memorial Park Cemetery, Hollywood, California - burial place of Mel Blanc

Holy Cross Cemetery, Culver City, California - Bing Crosby, Lawrence Welk, Bela Lugosi are among the Holy Cross residents

Home of Peace Cemetery, East Los Angeles, California- two of the Three Stooges were interred here

Inglewood Park Cemetery, Inglewood, California

San Fernando Mission Cemetery, Mission Hills, California

St. Louis Cemetery #1,#2,#3[?], New Orleans - burial place of Marie Laveau, Voodoo Queen of New Orleans, and many notable pirates and politicians. Because the city is below sea level, graves in New Orleans cemeteries are above ground.

Spring Hill Cemetery, Nashville, Tennessee

Valhalla Memorial Park Cemetery, North Hollywood, California[?]

Westwood Village Memorial Park Cemetery, Westwood, California - Marilyn Monroe, Frank Zappa, and Billy Wilder are buried here

(I'm back... for now...)

My first thought was an "above ground" cemetery. I checked all the ones in New Orleans and didn't see an immediate match, but I might have missed it (and there are a helluva lot of 'em in New Orleans).

Where did BEX live in? Both her parents died. This could be where they were buried. Same with Steph and the grandmother.

I hate to say it in case I'm wrong, but I'm not convinced it's a cemetery. If it is All the gravestones are the flat marker ones, they have no shadows, and there appears to be a monolith or two in the middle of the circle by looking at the shadows. They also seem too big and closely spaced to me.

BEX was from Boston and went to school in NY.
