Ya, this could very well be the second "rest" period he mentioned.

If it is, then they need to give us some kind of indication of that. Right now it looks like an endgame. If they want people to stick around, they need to give us a sign that there's something to stick around for.

Maybe part of the game is to see how many of us will stick around, and it will of course get harder and more stressful as more people leave, which they will, until only the most dedicated of us will be left, after all our effort up to that point, we won't want to throw it all away if we can help it. What will our task be then?

Maybe BEX is dead but Doc is looking for someone new to kidnap so we can try again. Doubtful, but it's a possibilty.

Yeah, I don't think it speaks to anyone's dedication. The fact is this: This looks like an endgame. Dedicated or not, people are only going to stick around for so long before they decide "hell with this, this is clearly over". It has nothing to do with dedication.

Don't know if it's endgame,a pause or the PMs just have an unusual idea of momentum. For me it's as if H2H became a sort of grueling job where I reckon we fulfilled our contract well yet I,personally, wouldn't renew mine within the existing parameters.

That's not to say I didn't have tons of interesting fun "playing" with alot of peeps I respect and meeting more than a few new ones. If Bex is still among the living(which I truly hope),I'll probably see H2H through but will encourage some contract renegotiations with our psycho-Doc.*Wishful thinking that will work on exactly 2weeks to the day we wrote Bex's obits*... Cool

These are my feelings as well, Amandel.

I'm done with it.
For a first timer this has been an interesting experience, a diversion from the everyday grind. I"m amazed what people can do when we all work together, it was very cool to see.

I just wish it didn't feel so anti-climatic

Well, tongue tied,I'm amazed this was your first ARG. You did alot of sweet work. Why not check out the News and Rumors section here where there looks to be a couple of fun things just starting. Very Happy

tongue tied, hope you and all of our new friends will consider reading the 48HiP summary, http://forums.unfiction.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=25031, and then join us at the in-game forum http://www.48-hours.net/purgatorium/

Thanks!
I don't want to get into 48HiP, it sounds really interesting, but there's just so much history to catch up on, is it on a break right now?
I may start reading it though and get sucked in..............

I'm playing "The Landlord" in rumors right now, hoping I don't get killed, it is VERY cool.

48HiP has been on a lull while H2H plays out, but I hope the next phase will begin shortly.

I well understand that you might prefer to start something new rather than jumping into a situation mid-stream. You might enjoy reading the summary if only to get a better sense of the context of H2H.

Be safe tongue tied!

You'd think that if this was ended, he'd close the forum, though. Unless he's still watching our reactions?

Yes, but unfortunately Doc doesn't seem to follow common human logic.

I am still keeping an eye out because I just don't see why someone would put all this time and effort into making a game and then not give us any closure or even a definite indication that it is over. But then again, this is Doc that we're talking about! If it is over I still had fun and enjoyed the game.
