Dang it! That looked really cool! I may just have to catch up on this whole 48HiP thing....and man, Doc sounds crazy just talking normally...
It's a really compelling story, faeryqueen, and it's not as though Bex's so sad end has gone unmourned. Each time I hear her in that vid saying "I just want you to know that I'm doing okay" I get all throat catchy remembering how hard you and many others worked to save her.

"The truth walks through the fire" in the source code here http://www.skgfilms.com/ gives me hope that Jagt got concerned enough to follow Kristin and was able to save her. *still holding out hope*

My hope has sadly dwindled,Tres. However if your spec proves correct then it's only proper that those updates appear first at H2H as that is where we were emphatically told in The Sanctuary of Ethics that Bex's fate would be decided.
My feeling is that although the two stories will always be braided to a point they are now going to diverge.
*also remembering that we were told yesterday that SKG Films is now an OOG site intended mainly for film and not ARG info*

Yeah, I could truly feel your sadness amandel and wanted keep up your spirits for a little while longer just in case the skg source code was meant to be literal rather than metaphoric. I have to wonder why would that message be in the source code at all if the site is exclusively for the film as TM said?

OT-Tres,this is maybe my last H2H comment. You are right. It's no secret that while reading her blog I became increasingly concerned with her youthful recklessness. When I open the splash page I recognise that Bex is only adjusting her sunglasses but it appears as if she is waving goodbye....

I keep getting drawn back to this......and I keep lurking at the 48HiP threads & forum. I'm actually kinda annoyed that this was related to 48 at all, I feel really invested in H2H, but I don't want to be the outsider newby in a game that's been going on for so long, especially since it's obvious you guys are such a tight group.
It does seem fascinating and interesting, and pretty much everyone from 48 has been kind to me, but I've read a few things at the 48HiP forum & uF threads that make me feel like I will not be welcome, that I will always be the newby to some extent, and that I will never understand all the inside jokes and subtle social commentary going on.......and I guess that's true of any established group.
I guess what I'm trying to say is do you guys really want newcomers, would I be welcomed, would I not feel left out?

Not welcome? What makes you think that?
Aw come on, we invite everyone in to our little world. I mean, it's no fun being clinically insane if you can't share the delusion, right?
I admit I don't know all the details of the 48HIP storyline, but the PMs make nice artwork, the videos are cool, and the people are entertaining. And we definitely welcome newcomers; the more the merrier.
What the hell are you waiting for? GET OVER THERE!

Specifically the "Regarding Hurts to Heal" thread in the lounge in the 48-hours forum.

tongue tied, you are wanted at 48HiP! You'd be such an asset to this group, and I join amandel and Nighthawk in encouraging you to join us. Please, please come on over. And this invitation is extended to everyone here who enjoyed H2H and wants to see how the story of these characters unfolds.

Tongue tied, I can see where you might be a little hesitant about jumping on the 48 forums. I have been following 48 for a long time now and I always lurk over at the forum and see what cool things are going on.. but when I went over to the forums today, I did check out the Hurts To Heal thread and some of the players over there have made remarks that would scare off some one.... But they are all harmless (for the most part )

Ahh, let me explain.
See, us at 48 Hours are a right group that I am damn proud to be a part of. Saying that, however, does not mean we don't accept or frown upon newcomers. I hope she doesn't mind I'm using her as an example, but Anotherpilotdown has just joined us and although she is new the story and ways we do things over at 48, she is highly respected for her work in HTH and we're positive that she can contribute (she already has, actually) to the game and I hope that everyone thinking of joining up at least joins up, reads up and talks to us and see if it's their scene. The bigger the better, the more fun, really.
Tres hit the nail right on the head. Both myself and her were not originally part of 48 but instantly fell in love with the story and the way it is told. I hope I can only inspire more of you too.

For those of you still here, if you haven't seen the festival trailer for 48 Hours In Purgatory , I think you'll be intrigued with it and want to learn more about Doc, Kristin and the larger story.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ai-0B8ZJLIY I'd like to know what y'all think. Enjoy!

Yes, you did indeed post it first Leyton. I would have used your link instead, but I didn't realize it also has the option for a high-quality version (just so you know I wasn't snubbing your link LOL).
