Yeah i agree. I wonder where all this is going? I mean, we havent really even found out much more than we started with. We started with a company, which was likely a front for something else, suspected foul play in a scientists death, and a newbie, rogue employee. What else have we learned so far? Dont get me wrong I like this story and such, and the puzzles are challenging, but i guess im abit frustrated, sorry for the rant Confused

Not all ARGs go at a breakneck speed. Not sure how long this is set up for or where it's going yet - half the fun. It's more "real" this way (to me at least).

And with this current speed new folks can jump in and we don't have to freak we're missing out on something every single day. Something new is learned every day it seems.

Also called a one time pad. I can't believe it, I was going to try that but I had to leave and didn't have time. Now I get home and see that it would have worked. Dang

On a different drum, Eliza left a twitter at 6:23 pm EDT:

Called and tried to listen to the msg.

There are a lot of occurrences of the term, "Last Word"/Natures Last Word"
which makes me think of the Anthropic Principle, which basically means that our human speculations are only as good as our experience. Think of it as a combination of "If a tree falls in the woods.." and "Flat Earth".

It could also be a reference to "Man" if taken from the common usage defining "Man" as "Nature's Last Word" or, by extension "death"

FWIW, I think the last word on the recording was "to".

OK, might as well post this little snit's Twitter message just for posterity's sake:

I've split out the discussion on both the Phone Message and the ASQA site into their own threads, so please post further discussion on those topics there.

Phone message: http://forums.unfiction.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=25689
ASQA: http://forums.unfiction.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=25687

Thanks!

new Nate's blog post, seems he's taking a more optimistic attitude. good, I'm glad he's gonna make it and not go postal and shoot up his office.

Well, I woke up, and the sun was in the sky. Not sunny and 72° (shocking) but up. At least today. Looks like a storm is coming in, maybe tomorrow. So much for the holiday weekend.

Point is, the sun came up today. Life moves on, and I guess I need to as well. Of course, I say that and then glance over at the bed, which is conspicuously empty. And then I go to work, and there's a chill in the air, even when there isn't. I was in a meeting yesterday, and she glossed over me like I was the intern.

You know what's ironic? This…woman is messed / deranged / ill enough to think she needs to fake everything (poor choice of words) to make sure I do my work…and yet, I'm already doing it. The work, I mean. (btw, what kind of MBA program teaches the Eliza Marks' approach to motivation, anyway? I don't even know if she has an MBA. How telling is that? We never really talked about her—she always kept the focus on Nate, Nate, Nate.)

Sorry. My train of thought derailed. I didn't bust my ass in school to phone it in, now. I'm an excellent coder, good at my job, better than just about everyone I've come across. And I wasn't placed on this world to collect a paycheck. I'm getting steamed, now. More like, pissed off. How dare she think that I'd need motivation TO DO MY JOB.

Fact is, I've made progress. A lot of it. But let me tell you, I'm not going to race over to her desk and give her a big hug and tell her all of her worries are over, that we're getting close on ironing out the issues on this thing. That her 19% might actually be worth something, when I'm done. Let her stew. Let her think her little "project" is still a full tilt SNAFU.

I don't know whether I should hate her, or feel sorry for her. This sucks. 70 hour weeks ≠ meeting people. At least, meeting people like her. I know it's stupid, completely wrong, but she's…made a mark. I'm an idiot. I can't help it. But you know what they say. Time wounds all heels.

We have a thread just for Nate's blog now (we're in Potentials so we can have more than 1 thread). Look for [HOLO] Nate's Blog!

Just incase you all didn't know this, this appears to be an ARG for J.J. Abrams' new TV series, Fringe.

http://www.fox.com/futurefox/blogs/ Future on Fox, an official FOX blog, posted Holomove under the tag "fringe", after saying that we weren't looking hard enough for the Fringe ARG a few days ago.

So yeah, this is a part of something MUCH bigger.

Had to hunt around to figure out what you were talking about.

We're not claiming to know what this company is. Nor do we know this man.

Although, some of these people seem to have an idea.

So, what is Fringe?

Quote:
Drama "Fringe," from Abrams' Bad Robot and Warner Bros. TV, revolves around a young femme FBI agent who works with an offbeat scientist to tackle cases involving unexplained medical and scientific phenomena.

Question Question

yeah.... *slaps forehead* I forgot about the move to CF, oops...

As for Fringe, I hope this is for that, (although JJ-esque virals seem to have a habit of failing to bring any closure...you know the one i mean) I saw the commercial for that the other day, 'm definitely gonna check that show out, viral or not...
