Richard Cheese and the Detroit Grand Pubahs?
What kind of music are they?
Richard Cheese is like a jazz band that covers metal/rock acts. The cover of down with the sickness by disturbed is hilarious.
Dunno about detroit grand pubahs.

At the drive in is pretty legit. Not a HUGE fan of them, but great post-hardcore nonetheless.
Mr. Grumpypantz, what is your avatar of? It looks sweet.

Imho they are by far the most over-rated band in existence. Yes, more than the multitude of talentless rap acts.
Not to mention i'm pretty sure they worry more about how they dress and look on-stage than the awful noisecore they produce.

nin should never attempt rap, EVER. The closest thing to rap they've ever made would be "God Given". And to INTERNET, FUCK YEAH TO THE SECOND POWER!!!

Listening to a lot of Wilco lately.
And the Billy Bragg & Wilco albums? Gold. For real.

how is Norma Jean over-rated?
what bands do you listen to?
I really don't think they care about how they dress
Why should you care about what they wear?
I listen to them for the music

I listen to similar metalcore (which i'll be the first to say is also over-rated). However, i feel that norma jean has absolutely no talent whatsoever. Well...i take that back. Bless the martyr was halfway decent, but o god the aftermath was one of the worst records ever made.
And the comment, about what they wear, that's exactly my point. Bands should be concerned about the music they play. Nora jean is the epitome of scenester trash that cares more about how they look and if their girl pants are tight enough than the music they make. Not unlike the chariot (who, not coincidentally, is their old singer).
To skatehimrock, i was talking about norma jean, not NIN.
