Kid, you don't know any of us, so stop making assumptions. and fuck yeah NESkimos! hahah. I'll listen to whatever I goddamn want. Never had any long form of interaction with anyone from this generation of highschoolers before. Guess you're all just little pricks like we were. haha.
Everybody chill. The arguements over nothing are getting annoying.

Anyways... music?

So....
What kind of music is NESkimos?

This band who play rock/metal covers of old nintendo songs. If you recognize the games the songs are from (I maaaaybe know about half) then it's pretty fun. They do shit like Mega Man, Metroid, Kirby, Mario, Bionic Commando. haha. Nothing to listen to regularily, but good for when you need something goofy.

That's awesome I need to listen to them now
Have you heard Cloud Strife?
He does electronic grindcore covers of popular tv shows
like TMNT, Fresh Prince, and Sailor Moon

Never heard of em. I'll see if they've got a myspace or something. But I'd really have no use for a sailor moon cover. hahah.
NESkimos give out all their stuff free from their site. Most of those Nintendo type bands kinda suck, but these guys make listenable tunes out of it.

I still think their cover of The Who's "Reign Over Me" is their greatest song. I'd even go as far as to say its slightly epic.

First of all, you guys are all fags for arguing. Arguing is for ninnies. Go along to get along. Yes, yes, I know what the title says. Why not change it to "Let's talk nicely about music while we bake cookies and agree with everyone!" It has a nice ring to it.

Secondly, I hate all of your music. But that doesn't mean you don't have the right to listen to it. Personally, there's nothing that soothes my ears more than the sound of a small child crying because his tongue is stuck to an iced pole, or a homeless man crying while he slowly laments his life. RHCP are good, too.

Thirdly, I bet skatehimrock got a massive erection when he saw the words "tongue","iced pole", and "small child".

hahah, indeed!
Man, did you hear Child With Tongue Stuck To Pole's new album. Brutal!
I particularily love track 4 "Ow, My Fucking Tongue!". haha
Ya, RHCP has great stuff. You like Frusciante's solo albums? Just been gettin into them in the last year. Some great stuff.

Are you talking about Niandra Lades and Smile From The Streets You Hold? Because if you are, then yes.. I love 'em. I'm actually listening to Nigger Song right now. Have you heard of Chickenfoot?

Ya, I like a lot of his stuff but that album is my favourite. Weirdly enough it's my girlfriend who got me into him. She's not really a music buff so I was shocked at how much I liked his stuff. Other than that she pretty much gets all her music from me. haha.

Never heard of Chickenfoot. John in that band?

Agreed, I was so psyched when I heard they were covering that one. One of my favourite Who songs by far. Not Pearl Jam's best song, but definitely one of their best covers. I don't mind 'Last Kiss', but it got really played out when it was released, so it wore thin very quickly for me.
