Skakehim, you want me to list a pile of pure (and pretty close to pure) screaming shit that's excellent? I can list a bunch off the top of my head.

Arch Enemy
In Flames (old stuff)
Fear Factory
ISIS
Mastodon
Strapping Young Lad
Lamb of God
Daath
Dethklok Laughing
Gojira

There's many more, but that's jsut a few of my favourites.
Any backup from anyone on this?

Either you don't know what you're talking about or it's different over there. I have NEVER met a a7x fan who was over 16, had the traditional part down the side and bangs in his fucking eyes, and weighed over 80 lbs. No joke, they attract the worst of the scenesters.

And yes, bfmv pretty much blow ass. Worst lyrics of any band in existence.

Haha, excellent. "bangs in his eyes", hilarious. I know exatly what u mean. Keep wearing t-shirts with skulls and flowers on em u fuckin scenesters. haha

Ya, I'm starting to like them. It's been hard to distinguish between all these 'death-core' (i hate that term) bands that have been coming out lately, but someone did their whole new album for custom guitar hero, so i've been getting into them a bit.

But as much as I love breakdowns, (and certain bands who rely on nothing but) it's too over-saturated with them right now. So I'm sure I'm missing out on some really great bands cause I keep getting blindsided by all these new bands. Been fighting off checking out Whitechapel just cause I'm in death-core overload right now.

I'm assuming you also dig Job for a Cowboy and Despised Icon eh?
Good shit.

I'll definitely back you up on arch enemy, in flames (i actually like old AND new, believe it or not...), fear factory, LoG, and strapping young lad. Not that the others are bad; i am just not as familiar.

Thanks man.
Ya new In Flames ain't so bad, it just seems like they're catering to the young kids now instead of doin what they've always done. They're old stuff had some fuckin soul to it, guitar harmonies that make the hairs on the back of my neck stand up. Powerful shit. New stuff is easily as good as anyone else doing the metalcore thing lately, except it seems like they could be doing so much more.

Glad to see Fear Factory and Strapping Young Lad have some support, especially FF being in kind of a slump right now.

Those other bands are great too. After a few names I started scrolling through the iPod goin "Are these guys ALL screaming...?". haha.

ISIS isn't really heavy in the traditional sense. Very slow, building rythyms, but when the vocals do occasionally kick in it sounds like an angry bear. haha. They have a really big sound. Some people call they're style 'ocean metal'.

Dethklok you all should know, with their cartoon and all. Goin to see em live (somehow) in June, can't wait to see how they'll be animated for the show.

Gojira is just so intense. definitely for fans of LoG, FF and SYL. Vocals kinda sound like Meshuggah, but more organized. Also have a really big sound, very powerful, heavy tunes.

Daath is just a great new death metal-ish band. Pretty standard metal style, amazing brutal vocals.

And Mastodon are my niggaz! hahah. Naw, but they're probably my favourite metal bands in many years. Very creative, powerful riffs, insane drumming, themes about sea monsters (hey hey Cloverfreaks) and such.

Well, there's a run down I wasn't intending on giving. haha.

That band from Automation Transfusion? Didn't know they were a real band. haha. It's a zombie movie and they're all over it, the main guy wears their t-shirt the whole movie. Yeah, not a fan. A little to punky-metal for me. Bands like that and From Autumn to Ashes (don't lynch me if that's not a good comparison) and etc. aren't my thing really. Used to like that stuff a lot more than I do now.

Right now I'm trying not to try to find anymore new bands. Just got an iPod and 160GB filled up real easy, haha. Have to go through and make some cuts. There's just too much new shit to go through. Can't believe how many new bands have been coming out in the last few years. I'll be waiting 6 months for an album, but when I finally get it I've got all these other bands I still need to check out. It's fucked. haha.

Naw, haven't heard of Throne Of Judgment, I'll keep an eye out (Can't check out myspace or anything like that from this comp).
