movie soundtracks in general have really gone downhill in the last 10 years. i remember when movies actually HAD the fucking songs from their soundtrack IN THE FUCKIN MOVIE! sounds ridiculous right? it really used to happen. haha.

i have a couple in my collection that are so good i view them as albums. trying to think of some of my favourites...
The Crow had a really great soundtrack, the Life Aquatic has a prety good one... ummm. nothing else is coming to mind, but there's a lot more worth listening to.

Listening To: Abysmal Dawn - Programmed To Consume

For the music i liked at the time, the Little Nicky had a great soundtrack. Deftones, Unloco, Disturbed, POD, Filter, Cypress Hill, Linkin Park...it wasn't really popular at the time, so the genuity and uniqueness hadn't worn thin on any of these bands yet.

Listening to: NOTHING, I'M GOING HOME SUCKAHS!

I don't have to remember Pearl Jam cause i listen to the old stuff all the time. Even the newest album is surprisingly good, but nothing like Vs. or Ten.

If you're JUST getting into grunge-type stuff do yourself a huge favour and check out Alice in Chains, early Stone Temple Pilots and early Soundgarden. In my opinion, there's nothing better.

Ya, i remember Little Nicky soundtrack, my brother had that one. I think I already had most of the songs i liked from that one on the band's albums, but it was a solid mix at the time. Another soundtrack I really loved was Spawn. Lots of great metal/hard rock mashed up with electronic artists.

Cool, depends which era of STP you check out really. Some would say they lost their balls after Purple. I like all of it but the first 2 records are definitely the best and the loudest.

It is actually a pretty good album. Especially for a deathcore band. Whitechapel are one of the very few out of that style that I enjoy. I haven't listened through the new album all that much yet, but I'm liking what I hear, to my surprise.

I like THAT Fuel song, and a couple others, but generally don't like the band. Too many songs killed by radio. Solace is another song by them I really like.

Listening to: Carcass - Child's Play (how did I not know about this band until now? this shit is amazing)
