I was tlaking about She & Him as in Zooey Deschanel and M. Ward.

Currently listening to:
"Don't Call Me Whitney, Bobby" - Islands

oh, haha. i was confused cause there are bands called She & Him. I'm not into Him though. Lame ass emo goth rock.

So Zooey Deschanel plays in a band or something? Hmm, had no idea. She's gotta be one of the cutest chicks in movies right now (even though The Happening sucked pretty bad). I might check that band out.

Listening To: Mudvayne - A New Game (possibly the only song a really like from the new album)

Holy hell, kinda forgot about this place. Good to see it's still alive, even if it's on some hardcore life support by jarsofsap.

Currently listening to: Sonic Syndicate - Red Eyed Friend (this whole album is terrible...last time I listen to a friend's advise about metalcore, you can't get any more bland and generic than this)

yup, it's still kickin. i check in every couple days. force of habit. plus, did i mention i have a boring office job? haha

OW! FUCK! just bite through my tongue. stupid Stride gum!

yeah, Sonic Syndicate never appeals to me. I keep trying em out assuming i'll like it every once in a while, but there's really nothing special about it. quite boring.

Listening To: Mastodon - Welcoming War

Anybody heard of Winds of Plague, Cradle of Filth, or Dimmu Borgir??

Epic Death Metal with keyboards sound very orchestral....kinda like Children of Bodom and Arsonists Get All The Girls.

BTW, I do listen to A7X, Slipknot, and Atreyu, but on the other hand, I do listen to Children of Bodom, Killswitch Engage, and Sevendust...

this is probably the longest drought i've allowed for this thread. haha

Everyone neeeds to check out a band called Last Crack. If you're a fan of Alice In Chains it'll blow you're mind. The album Burning Time is the one to get. I'm currently obsessed with it.

Oh, and to anyone interested...

Opeth - Would? (Alice In Chains cover)

I would say WoP is deathcore, and CoF and dimmu are wannabe watered down black metal. I actually like dimmu borgir; i'd say that CoF is utter trash.
Btw, please don't compare CoB with arsonists....ugh, i hate arsonists get all the girls.

Welcome to the thread!
