 Its gone...

I was about to go to bed when I decided that I was going to watch the footage from the cloverfield movie homepage, you know the one where it just popped up when you sat there?(thats what she said)

Well its gone. It just plays the trailer. I don't know if its just something that has happened to night or not. But before I went to work yesterday it was there.

I have even tried the other way into the site (www.cloverfieldgame.com) Nothing, its still gone.

I am sitting right now letting the page play over and over to see what happens.

Nope still gone.

I don't know if it even had anything to do with the ARG, but its gone now.... so is the site for the where were you thing. It looks like it would have been left up so that if you wanted to watch the old submissions... I don't know if this even matters, what do you all think?

Do you guys suppose that maybe the viral is picking back up very slowly to promote the Cloverfield Video Game?? i dont know how much this has been talked about, if at all, but suppose that maybe none of this has anything to do with the sequel at all, and there is just gonna be a whole lot more information in the Video game. I mean, Some video games are pretty involved, and have a very elaborate backstory, u know what i mean? maybe the monsters origin, teddy, tido, tag, slusho, ect.. will all be in the video game, and THATS where were gonna get the majority of our answers. any thoughts??

That's my biggest fear that it will all be leading to the game. I mean a game would be really cool, but seeing that it would come out on a 360 or ps3 and I don't have either systems and don't see me getting one any time soon (lots of bills and little pay). I hope that its for another movie, I want to see one so bad.

thats not entirely true, cuz even if you only have a Ps2, it will still be released for that system. if a game is released for Sony Playstation, it will be released on Ps3 as well as Ps2. even if you dont have a Ps2, you can grab one at GAMESTOP or a store similar to that, and pick one up for like 60 bucks easy. And while i too am super freakin excited about seeing another Cloverfield movie, i would be just as stoked to play the Cloverfield game, and start out as an environmentalist working for T.I.D.O, gain their trust, and have them send me on an undercover mission, gaining employment from Tagruato, finding all kinds of top secret information, meeting Ganu Yoshida, finding Clovey in the holding tank under Chuai, ect, ect, ect.. now THAT would be awesome. Just being able to interact with the back story like were doing in the arE, only on a more involved level. finding out all kindsa information about stuff that weve been literally DYING to find out via the videogame would be completely awesome.

I didn't mean to sound like I didn't want to see a game. Because I think it would be fucking cool to be running around taking out parasites and then suddenly here comes Clover down the street. It would be cool... just fear I would not get to play it, soon enough before a second movie.

Hell the game would be great if you could even play as Clover and trash the town and fight off the military.

Now what would be interesting is if the published a book called "The Cloverfield Report" or something like that. Like the 9/11 Report, where they would take government findings and eye witness findings and compiles it all. That would be a great way to give a back story to a movie that supposed to feel real.

or if they structured it in a way after World War Z, where its all eyewitess accounts and interviews of a worldwide zombie uprising... A clover version would be awesome

Seeing as how about 1% of games made after movies have been good while the other 99% have been awful, my fear is also that this leads to a game.

I know what you mean, Suckah, but honestly, they havent even given us a release date for the game, nor have we seen so much as a trailer for it. So maybe their taking their sweet ass time with it to make sure that its SAWEEEEEEET as shit. I mean, as a supplemental element for the movie, the game would be sooooo freakin cool. If they are just recreating the movie and producing it into a game, then i would have to agree with you, but honestly, just call it a gut feeling or somethin like that, but i really think that were in for a completely different experience with this game than what we had in the movie. I think theres gonna be WAYYYYYYYYY more backstory and forestory to the game than there was in the movie. Think about it; do you honestly think that Abrams is gonna let a game be developed with the theme that somebody "found" it, like the video footage? that would be kinda freakin lame . Like what, lol "OMG somebody burned the cloverfield attack onto a Ps2 disk, and the military found it and kept it as documented evidence of the attack!!" LMFAO, no way man. This is gonna be more like A movie, and when i say movie, i mean- TONS of god shots of the monster, an actual storyline, explanations of origin, n the whole shebang.

This is just my theory on what were gonna get from the game, but man if im right, ill be playin that shit forever. It has potential to be the coolest Ps game made in a long long time.

The roar is still in there as far as I know. Was there the other day and left it on for a bit.
