I forgot to check my e-mail so I missed the festivities, but I was invited in as well. I think at least. I'll make sure tomorrow. This game looks really fun. Kudos to the creator.

I emailed them nicely and so I've got some emails back now - need to catch up on the whole thread before I can start contributing though Smile

A trap door opened below the peep hole in the doll house room. A jar fell out and inside was a key. I'm trying the locked doors on the second floor now.

Edit: It didn't fit any of the other rooms. I'll keep looking around to see if I can figure out what it goes to. I think the answer is in the doll house room.

Can you find out what room (in the dollhouse) the trap door in? Maybe in the real house there is a trap door there too.

I'm confused. I think I wasn't clear enough, sorry. The trap door was in the room itself, not the doll house. Do you mean you want me to see if there is another trap door somewhere else by checking the doll house?

Has the Landlord contacted you both to continue or is this preparation on your part?

I'm getting reponses but they are spaced a bit apart. The key is nondescript; it has no markings. I just moved to the hallway but I haven't got a response yet. I'm thinking the other open room on the second floor needs to be checked again before I move to the stairwell.

Edit: I'm in the hallway looking for the other open room.

I haven't gotten a response since the one I got this morning, I'm presently banging on the door to the sitting room and waiting for a response, maybe he is waiting for Will to respond to it if he is in there.

I'm going to be gone for most of the evening, I'll check again before I go however.
Protect me while I'm away if you can!

He sent me this e-mail.

Quote:
Just a nap, that's what you told yourself...ten minutes, you'd get up, and get back to your day...

But this isn't your bed. Or your room.

The walls of a study loom around you, flanked by massive book shelves filled with tomes. You are nestled atop an old, rickety desk chair...despite its antiquated look, seems to be holding your weight pretty well. A cherry wood writing table sits in front of you, the surface bare. From your position behind the desk, you can survey a few sitting chairs in the center of the room, with a table with various selected reading material strewn atop it. Candlelight flickers dimly from candelabras fastened to the wall. From what you can make out, nothing seems too unusual...sans the disorientating, unexpected change of environment.

I replied:

Quote:
I yell an expletive and stand.

I survey the room with my eyes, looking for a door.

- Stephen

Anything you want to suggest I do?

My suggestion? Examine the desk, chairs, floors and walls. You're looking for a clue to help you get out of there.
