Van Velsenmeer Foundation - Weird package with a Code. Hi people,
I've read in some German blogs, there were strange packages sendet to people. There is a wooden box with a punched card and memo "To execute these commandments you'll have to find the properly gifted follows." inside of each package.
The card is labeled with "The Final Mill Inc. Series AAB"
People tried to decode it and they got this code:
UMAKZZLNBZWHTWNYOLVIFKPRGQCIPNJIQTRRFRJMIGXGLOGEVIEJWNNCRZZCGKQW
Btw, here the blogs of people, who has got this package:

Wow...that's really weird.
The photo of the card reminds me somewhat of the music they put in player pianoes.
Did you get one?
And what exactly was this 'code'?

Unfortunately I haven't received it (at least, I haven't check my analogue mail-box today ). But now people try to understand, what it is. Weird is, in Germany is ARG or another viral campaign very rare phenomenon...
The code they've got was this letter chain. I suppose, it could be Enigma code, with the key AAB (from that label "The Final Mill Inc. Series AAB"). But my tryings to translate it wasn't so successfull.

That looks like it's supposed to be placed over something else, like a book or something. After it's superimposed, the letters that show up through the holes spell out a sentence or phrase.

Oh, it could be another possibility! I wonder, why they (I dislike this conspiratory terminus ) sent this packages to these bloggers...

Hmm... Column 66 is the last one punched. There are almost that many letters in the chain.

I wonder if the PM made a mistake? Odd that someone would send an English code to people in Germany. Unless they're bilingual, the poor guys are gonna have a hell of a time

Maybe we really need to translate the punch cards as they were intended, although it seems like a lot of work:

EDIT: In light of the message above, never mind.

I don't think it's the PM but your next character/move if this is an arg. And he has an email address, so I say that's who you contact to find out about the cards. eargeekpetSPLAT vanvelsenmeeri.org
and here is a virtual card punch, don't know if it will help or if it has anything equal to the AAB series.

They started an advert in a German pc magazin "c't".
Nothing than following text:

well I tried e phone number listed when trying the Library page (0180/534 662 662 56) but got german, which I don't understand. so... yeah. I didn't try the contact info phone #. Didn't want to stay on too long either due to fear of losing an arm and a leg.
don't forget, when calling international from north America, it's 011 - 49 (for germany) and the phone number without the leading 0.
or: 011-49-180-534-662-662-56
sheesh

The whole site is little more than a load of fake scientific talk. A mouse 75 years old? Gravitation waves?
It's almost like the Onion...or the Da Vinci code
I ran a whois on it...there was so much data that I'm just going to link to it if you want to see the whole thing. Not a whole lot of info available....just the admin's email address and the fact that their website was registered under Domains by Proxy.
The source code of the home page had nothing of interest either, and Wikipedia turned up nothing on the Velsenmeer Foundation.
EDIT: Idea-- if one of you guys with the cards places the punched out card over the card on TheFinalMill.com, like Natas was talking about, might it say something?
