Theo wrote in the postcard to Ariadne "we have a 1600-year advantage", but did he bluff?

Maybe he's referring to the original Theo, that stopped the Olympic games? Or the Greeks that forced the agonothethai to go into secrecy? Perhaps this is what he's referring to?

In one article I read on Encyclopedia referenced that there were two stones in Delphi - the Omphalos and the Baetylus.

"The most famous example is the holy stone at Delphi, the omphalos ("navel"), that reposed in the Temple of Apollo there and supposedly marked the exact centre of the universe. A second stone at Delphi was said to have been the one that the Titan Cronus swallowed; it was thought to be Zeus himself in his symbolic, or baetylic, form."

Hrm.

Furthermore, I have a theory about TheO. The O... The Ring? Could that O stand for the shape of a ring?

I think Theo referred the original Theodosius, but I wanted to say the organization of Theo is new.

I think the Omphalos is also an example of baetylus.

Just for documentation reasons I set up a wiki page for the Mission Teams:
http://olympics.wikibruce.com/Theo_Mission_Teams

I inserted the information available from this thread. So if you have further information, please update.

Yes, a baetylus can have many shape, it's just a sacred object. At Delphi, this baetylus took the shape of an omphalos, but you can have other type of baetylus (For example, the black stone in Mecca is a Baetylus)

We did have from time to time some clue about Atlantis. Obviously the multivers existed even before the ancient greek and their Olympic tradition...

But consider that Bacon's Nova Atlantis is a utopian text, not a historically correct description of the past.

It's possible that the underlined words in the poster break up into two parts: 'Try to cause the up down no no' and then 'start to weave.'

So, maybe the 'up down no no' refers to some kind of waveform, and what are we supposed to weave?

In Codex chapter 22 there was already a reference to "baetylus".

Chapter22 wrote:

Nevertheless according to ancient histories, the statue at Delphi which survives today was not the first omphaloi at that place. It was the second omphaloi – a copy made in the 4th century BC. The first true omphaloi was different. It was made from a special type of a stone – aerolite – and was covered with a true woven net called argenon.

aerolite and baetylus are some kind of meteorite.

It was Eli Hunt who originally showed us yes/no waveforms (in that New Atlantis book he found). I suggest e-mailing him about this up down no no thing.

Is this you, Jorge?

Is there anyone else interested in finding a partner for this mission? Sektano received an email from a player in Brazil who is looking for someone to pair up with but doesn't know any overseas players.

If anyone is keen to approach TheO with him, drop me a message and I'll pass on his email address. Very Happy

This waveform from the New Atlantis seems closest to "up down no no" -- http://olympics.wikibruce.com/Image:Book1.jpg

"the amplified reversal"
