The last line of the quote on the image should read, "If Caesar carelessly but nod on him." Act 1, Scene 2, I believe of Shakespeare's Julius Caesar.

While I think all this spec is great and some really creative ideas are popping up, we might be spending too much time on nothing. What are we looking for anyway--a password? an html page? could be anything..

There's most probably something for us to find, but unless it's a bit more obvious we're just going around in circles..

How about shifting the effort into other things we know for sure have a solution like mlo's metadex password?

The chinese zodiac for him is rabbit (1939).

Rabbit ( 1915 - 1927 - 1939 - 1951 - 1963 - 1975 - 1987 )
You are the kind of person that people like to be around - affectionate, obliging, always pleasant. You have a tendency, though, to get too sentimental and seem superficial. Being cautious and conservative, you are successful in business but would also make a good lawyer, diplomat, or actor. Some Rabbits: Confucius, Albert Einstein, Coretta Scott King, Rudolph Nureyev, Queen Victoria, Orson Welles, Jane Yolen.

So, something combinating rabbit with taurus

Um...haven't read the whole thread (at work, can't spend too much time on this), but has anyone noticed that the file names are binary?

Eight bits each. The first is a binary one. The second is a binary 5.

15...is this the start of a sequence? A phone number perhaps?

Yes, we've been thru that. And the second number (00000100) is 4 ;)

Steve Walsh

I did a search for Steve Walsh on IMDB.COM and a few names came up. But something interesting in the Search matching to a movie: The Aquatic Life.

Probably a total Coindidence. But still very strange.

Um

Im hearing speculation other places that caesar might be a log in name at metadex and whatnot, but who knows. Also, isnt the binary for the second image 100, which is 4 and not 5? Also, when i think of the play julius caesar i think about one thing caesar says about cassius before the ides of march get the best of caesar, he says that "yond cassius has a mean and hungry look, he thinks too much, such men are dangerous." What does this have to do with anything? I dunno, but noone has brought it up yet, and just thought id throw im my .02. Probably nothing, but you never know.

Marcus' quote sounds like something that Einstein would say about quantum mechanics (I mean, I know Huxley said it, etc.), but still...

As far as "Walsh" - Jack Walsh is a retired CEO of GE...
Another thing on "walsh" - their banquet on the 10th is at a hotel on 5th and Lake; Neo's exit (at the end of M1) was on Walsh and Lake (credit: jimmerb83, www.matrixreloaded.com)

Easy enough to type the word "binary" into the search engine to see if it's been brought up.

The reason that there's so much in this thread is that it's the same new discoveries being reposted...

edited to redirect the trout to its proper hatchery

Hey, why give me a Trout? I was just answering the guy's question! I was going to suggest he do a search, but I was off to the next website before I clicked "Submit"...

Hey trouts aren't a bad thing! We all have at least a freezer full of frozen trout each. Smile Wear your trout badge proudly and we'll all have a fish fry at the end of the game!

The File Letters

Very Happy

Nobody seems to have spotted this, oddly enough, there are three files letters that are highlighted.

Including the obvious "F" there is also "P" and i think "T" from what i can tell.

I don't have a clue what this could mean, i figured i'd point it out though.
