[MISSIONS] Labyrinth Training Festival

Time to get started on organizing the next training sessions! Kai posted on Ariadne's blog and it looks like there's going to be a big (hopefully!) labyrinth run in NYC on June 7th for the June 6-8th Come Out and Play Festival. For people who can't make it to NY that weekend, let's get events organized in our own cities!

It also looks like we have confirmation that the lines do represent the different worlds, since we haven't had too much feedback on the RUN GRAPH mission solutions we've come up with before.

Labyrinth Training Festival - and What Did You Do to the Multiverse!!!
Kai here. No word from Ariadne. But in the meantime, do you mind if freak out a little bit and ask:

WHAT DID YOU GUYS DO TO THE MULTIVERSE?!?!?!!!!!

Deep breath.

If I understand our mission, a big part has to do with REDUCING the total number of worlds. To do this, we have tools like athletic synchronization and personal labyrinths.

Well, even though we're training, I don't think we've synchronized very much. And clearly we need a LOT more personal labyrinths to happen. Because apparently, since we've started, we've managed to actually INCREASE the total number of worlds. NOT GOOD.

But wait. It gets worse! Look at the blue and red lines on the multiverse graph. Blue going down, red going up. Now I'm no expert pan-cosmologist. But didn't the codex say that most worlds since the New Catastrophe exist in a state of Neopangea? That sounds to me like the biggest line, the red line, represents the Neopangaea worlds. That means in the past few weeks we have somehow managed to DECREASE whatever the blue worlds are and INCREASE Neopangea worlds.

Think about that for a minute. Are you getting it? Did we just send billions of worlds through their own catastrophe??? From Gondwana or Kenorland to NEOPANGAEA?!?!

Okay, we have to seriously get it together. For my part, I've just pulled some strings to get The Lost Sport into a giant games festival in New York City on Saturday June 7th. Go to the Upcoming page for the Central Park event and sign up if you can help undo some of the multiverse damage we've done. We should have lots of people, so we need big synchronizing labyrinths in other cities too. The game is at 5 PM Eastern Time, that's 2 PM Pacific Time, and maybe Sunday morning New Zealand Time, and late in the evening Buenos Aires time? I know we have strong labyrinth teams in all those places, let's try to join forces and reduce the number of worlds.

Yay! I went to Come Out and Play in Amsterdam last year and it was really fun, I'm definitely going to try to get to the one in NYC.

Are these the North American championships that Jane was talking about in the New York labyrinth video?

I should definitely be able to make it to Come out and Play in June, which should be interesting. I definitely want to try and make the labyrinth happen. Hopefully we get a large crowd of people.

Do you think that Kai is talking about the pairs of people that have aligned themselves with Theo? Mauro and I are about to embark on our desynchronization activity (in particular I'm a good candidate to be a double agent, as I've never contacted anyone in the game besides Theo), but do you think there are too many people helping Theo that is offsetting the balance? Ugh. I am about to start my Uninitiation mission with Mauro and I've been wondering if there are simply too many people doing this at the same time.

I think it's a good idea for as many people as possible to participate in the Theo infiltration, so that we'll have many chances to get information. I asked Kai what he thought about the community's suggestions for "offsetting" and he thinks that it will be fine. My plan is to perform personal labyrinths before and after, so that my parallel selves will be aligned, and to discuss things with my partner so that we can prepare ourselves and she can do her own personal alignments.

Where is that quoted from? It's not on the Come Out and Play site ...

From Kai's overly dramatic post on Ariadne's blog:
