Well, I guess, they at least introduced her first, then had her go missing. Instead of having someone contact us to help find her from the start. You know, so this way has been done SLIGHTLY less. Um, yeah....

I'm not playing this one and even I think that this is ridiculous. (The "missing plotline", that is.)

Well the thing that's getting to me the most is that everything seems to be moving at a snail's pace. I'm just waiting to see if something is going to crack this open big time.

Any chance this could refer to the music notes we tinkered around with in the beginning? I've seached the site to see if any additional hidden links has been put up overnight, but I couldn't find anything.

The poem does say "I have everything I need"

 		Was also thinking that we must compose something using those notes "C A F G B C D" yet except for C each one is different. And how to put them in the right key order with that double C also there?..... Dunno

 		Dear I Love Maureen Pickles PMs...
I spent a bunch of time on this ARG, granted, I was at work, so I wasnt really wasting any sort of precious freetime, however on several occassions I had live chats with the ilovemopickles character person. These were my first live chats and I was quite pleased with them. Now that this game has likely imploded, I hope you will respect me and all the other players of this former-ARG, and come out and apologize for our inconvenience, and at least attempt to explain why this ARG was decidedly imploded.
Please give us that much respect,

 		Why do you think this has imploaded? It's only been 2-3 days. And it is a holiday weekend.
Not every game has an 'update' every day.
Maybe you guys haven't triggered the next 'event' yet.
I think introducing a character with whom you interact and THEN having them kidnapped is good - because you are more invested in the character and have more desire to save them (rather than a stranger approach you out of the blue looking for help for someone you have never known).

May I suggest you give the PM a chance before you jump all over it.

okay, looking at the site again, there is a section to submit info anonymously about Maureens whereabouts, which we already know (dont trout me plz). In looking at it, I doubt that they would put such a thing there for asthetic purposes. So, the answer, if this hasnt imploded, must be to start submitting anything we can think of to that spot. Maybe submit the info from the dating site? I dunno tho, but I would say info on her ex would def. help in the investigation into her disappearance Smile

 		While I don't think it's 'imploded' I do think a lot of us have lost our interest. Not necessarily the PMs fault, but personally, I find the pace slowed so fast and then when we were thrown a missing person out of the blue and a puzzle none of us can or want to solve, I dropped to lurk mode. I think a few others have done the same. Perhaps if we'd had a personal plea for help/distressed newsletter from the Maureen Pickles fan club and a little poke in the right direction, it might have felt a bit more real, but that's my personal opinion and I am but a mere plugsocket.

However, I'm not signing off yet :p So far it's been an interesting and well made game with some lovely attention to detail and I really hope we can solve this and see it through to the end.

Saying that - I'm baffled as to what to do Very Happy

Edit: I just wanted to ask what people think of the lilypots myspace. I'm failing to see the point of it. She friended a few of us and gave responses to those of us who mailed, but gave no new information away at all. So why were we given her myspace? Either there's more to it or it's bad game mechanics on PM's behalf or we're not asking the right questions. Going to prod again and see if I can get anything more from her about maureen.

I've dropped into lurk mode a bit myself, but there doesn't really seem to be a whole lot more developing here. We either haven't been given enough to work with, or everything's just a little to vague or cryptic (which normally isn't a problem, since we're pretty good with cryptic, but it kind of goes to show how much is missing from this game.

I'll be in the shadows until this picks up again, unless it dies.

 		Been lurking, just found this new update on the Maureen Pickles fansite.

It's an article from a newspaper called The Writer's B----, which I'm guessing is The Writer's Block considering it was referenced earlier.
